I spent so much time pulling and pushing that I didn’t notice how I had pulled the leaver on myself and I was now the one in the dark.

today I’m proud of me for taking out the trash before it started raining for bringing in the mail before the storm
I know my mom would be proud of me, too and
in light of that imagining I collect the candles and charge my phone
