If chronic illnesses can be cured, then they wouldn't be chronic illnesses.
Don't fall for the bullcrap scams.
I'm so not sorry 🫠
I’m just a firm believer in chara-narrates-deltarune-too theory and also that k_k just commits to the bit to mess with his siblings
People need to take the word "comorbid" out of their mouths until they learn what it means.
All it means is that two or more conditions are present at the same time.
And now I see people taking things like "Autism and ADHD can be comorbid" to being "ADHD is basically autism-lite" and finally "Autism and ADHD are basically the same thing"
and
NO ITS NOT. That's not how this shit works. Disorders aren't just a pick and chose of quirky traits that make you So Weird and Unrelatable.
Autism and ADHD are NOT THE SAME THING. I have both and while there is SOME overlap, its not to the extent that these disorders are not distinguishable from the other.
my best friend is ablebodied and autistic and he cares about me and respects me and is a sympathetic person when I’m talking about / experiencing ableism near him because of my spinal cord injury/metal spine/mobility aids and is never weird about it or condescending to me and he doesn’t compare our (different) experiences and I think if more people were like him about disabilities that are different from theirs this site would suck 50% less . just a thought
For trans activism to move forward you have GOT to learn to accept that not everybody who uses She/Her pronouns is going to be some short, white, skinny, passing person.
You’ve got to accept that there are tall, hairy, and fat trans women who “havent done anything” and still deserve to be fucking gendered correctly.
I’m sorry you had to hear this from me, but not everybody is going to appeal to your UwU soft trans catgirl sensibilities.
disabled people are allowed to be angry, we're allowed to express our anger
if that upsets you ask yourself why
why does a stranger whos disabled being angry online upset you and why do you feel the need to lash out at them for it? when you can simply not listen and scroll past instead of engaging?
disabled people, esp us physically disabled people, are continuously fucked over by the deep seeded ableism in society and we're allowed to be angry and upset about it, we're allowed to express our anger about it and we will
if you have an issue with that you have a problem with yourself that you need to handle, not lash out at us to escalate the anger. you wont silence us. you cant.

Happy Autism Acceptance Month to people who act different than most people’s views of autism
Shout out to Autistic people:
- With Intellectual disabilities
- With things that cause symptoms that are the exact opposite of most autistic people
- Who lie a lot
- With personality disorders (Including NPD and ASPD, but also cluster A and C disorders)
- Who are delusional
- Who hallucinate
- With OCD, Bipolar disorder, or anything else
- Who are illiterate
- Who are nonverbal, even if they can’t communicate via ANY means
- Who are incontinent
- Who are off in their own world and don’t care for anyone else
- Who are insane
- Who are addicts (substance or not)
- Who have no empathy
- Who aren’t doing their best
- Who need constant care
- Who don’t try to ‘recover’
- Who are completely unpalatable to anyone
I better not see lateral ableism from other Autistic people in these notes.
Feel free to add things I either didn’t cover or didn’t be specific enough about
ROUND 2-A: Marx VS Jevil
About Marx: He tricked Kirby into summoning Nova, and he then stole Kirby's wish and used it to try to take over Popstar. He survived his both of his fights with Kirby (the second one ended with his soul being split in half). His pause scene in Star Allies implies that he can bribed with food, and his Japanese Guest Star pause scene implies he only helped out in Star Allies because he sensed the danger and deiced that he wanted to join the fun.
About Jevil: When you fight him in chapter 1, he invites you play a "game" where you have to stay alive, near the end of which he pretends to give up but instead hits you with Final Chaos, his strongest attack, and starts dancing all over the screen. He's one of the few character to have voice lines, including the infamous lines "I CAN DO ANYTHING!" and "CHAOS, CHAOS!", he foreshadows Chapter 2's final boss, Queen, and it's implied that he has some kind of knowledge of what his world truly is.
(I would like to remind you that if they tie they'll go on as a team)
if thousands of conservatives could quit bud light over making a SINGLE can with a trans persons face on it, you can quit chic fil a for them donating millions to anti lgbtq groups and harry potter for being written by the face of TERFS.

it annoys me when people imply people with congenital conditions are always dxed, and therefore treated, at birth. (and also that they think everyone is so nice to us but i've always ranted about that- no actually abled adults made me so fucking insane i can't even eat ice cream in front of people without feeling like everyone thinks i'm selfish and greedy)
many people only find out they have cerebral palsy, for instance, as adults. 1 in fucking 10 people have spina bifida occulta and will never know, either because it hasn't been caught or it's not disabling for them. people are dxed with congenital heart conditions as adults all the time. congenital conditions may be harmless and may not be- either way, a lot of us don't actually get dxed at birth
there are many reasons people may not be dxed at birth. drs may not know, or the condition may not be able to be recognized; some conditions only become obvious when they have progressed to a point where adults may, may, be able to see something is not usual (and this also requires them to even do anything about it, and they may not). you may have been neglected or not had the money. people may live in places where there is no decent healthcare, or may be unable to reach specialists. parents may be restricting because they don't want to admit their child is disabled, or for some other reason. also rare conditions are of course a lot less likely to get immediately dxed, or may get misdxed, or you may, like me, only get dxed with a symptom
also having a congenital condition where you do get resources as a child, i've said it before, but it goes away when you're an adult. there are no longer any resources for you. and this is really bad for people with potentially life threatening conditions
also abled adults can be extremely, unbelievably cruel to disabled kids, even ones with a diagnosis, or those of us who are "visibly disabled" or severely disabled. they don't care
you will never be antiableism/saneism if you still expect people to conform to societal understandings of ‘what is acceptable behaviour for a person to partake and look like’. this includes people with motor movements that are jerky, stumbling, or erratic. this includes people who’s speech is slurred, stuttered, is filled with grammatical errors, or otherwise difficult to underhand. this includes adults who wear diapers. this includes people who talk to themselves. this includes people who have poor volume control. people who have a poor sense of space. people who make sounds suddenly. people of any age who cannot do ‘normal’ things, like cut their own nails, use a remote, tie shoelaces or similar things. people who cannot ever live on their own and will always need a carer. people who cannot wash themselves. people who forget things all the fucking time. so much more i’ve forgotten. as long as you go out in public and believe behaviour that doesn’t harm you as being behaviour that should not exist in public, you aren’t as anti-ableist/saneist as you believe. you’re not the centre of the world, sorry.
i understand that this is the "disabled people know our own limitations" website, but ime, if you are the kind of disabled where everyone around you knows about it and has known you as a weak, incompetent, subhuman creature your entire life: it is important to learn how to make the distinction between "i can't" and "i'm not allowed to."
"i can't hold fragile things without breaking them" vs "my housemates won't let me do dishes anymore."
"i can't manage my own finances" vs "my family won't let me make my own financial decisions"
"i can't ever learn how to drive" vs "the state has decided that people with my disability cannot be allowed to drive."
also "what would need to happen for it to be possible for me to be able to do dishes?" or "what would i need if i were to ever move out?" or "what kinds of supports would i need if i did try volunteering?"
even if the answer to these you come away with is "i actually cannot do the thing, no matter what supports or accommodations i'm given" that's fine! they're still useful questions to ask!
I don’t know how many times this has to be said but:
ELEVATORS SHOULD BE THE STANDARD.
RAMPS SHOULD BE THE STANDARD.
SIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETERS SHOULD BE THE STANDARD.
BRAILLE MENUS SHOULD BE THE STANDARD.
ACCESSIBILITY SHOULD BE THE GODDAMN STANDARD.
Thank you and goodnight.
Sincerely, a very fucking pissed off disabled person.
