Haha the answer is absolutely not. That being said Apple obviously has a shitload if money so they can take a risk on something like this. I’m not sure exactly what their game plan is for this in the year 2024, but I could easily see this being in many households/companies at a much lower price range within the next four to five years.
There is a lot of really neat tech here. It’s almost like some Minority Report level shit. Throughout its existence Apple has released products that so many have rolled their eyes or scoffed at. Including the iPhone. Hell when they released the AirPods my first reaction was like huh? Now I couldn’t fathom being without my AirPods Pros, especially with adaptive audio on its way (which is legit btw) and I don’t think I go anywhere without seeing the general public without rocking some AirPods. Will that happen here? It very well could happen. Will that happen in 2024? I don’t think so.
I mean if someone wanted to gift it to me I wouldn’t be mad about it. 😆
Unrelated I need to get back to London someday so I can see the Apple takeover of Battersea which many would recognize from this iconic album cover.
I have it setup that Siri will read messages to me through my AirPods, and I just want to say that appreciate the fact Siri will read back “wtf” as “what the fuck” 😆
