Hello

@matt-the-patate

not gonna lie i still have an obsession with the bowers gang (he/him)

So… i made some little designs Monster high designs for the gang ( even tried making the name puns ) and i hoped to make a Snatch Huggins one but i just couldn’t bring myself to it 😰

Also i can’t fucking spell, i wrote « Huggings » ☹️

S1 Steve gets thrown into the future and he's shocked to find that his future self is still living in his parents house. He notices a few changes; more photos on the walls, coloured throw pillows on the couch, guitars mounted on the wall. Did he finally learn how to play?

He peeks into a few rooms expecting to see a nursery but is disappointed when he doesn't find one. Did future him not want kids? Maybe his wife didn't want kids.

He creeps around the house and scrunches his nose up at a note on the kitchen fridge that says, 'Dinner at Jonathan and Argyle's on Saturday :P.' Why was his future self friends with Jonathan Byers?!

Steve makes his way up to his room, and instead of finding himself asleep with a pretty girl, his future self is fast asleep and sprawled on top of a man with curly hair. The man has an arm wrapped around Steve's shoulders and holds him close. They both look like they're smiling in their sleep, it's almost unbearable how happy and in love they look. He closes the door softly and stares at the dnd poster on it for what feels like hours.

He wants to say that he's shocked, that he could never imagine himself loving a man, but he's not.

No one questions him when he starts hanging out with Eddie Munson in school.

At first i read Steven and i thought this was about SU. I was in extreme conFUSION.

Alright , enough jokes for me today

Alright so I've just finished the Ghoulfriends forever book and yeah they never explain the Jackson situation but k'now what I need to accept that he is a minor character and that i need to get over myself BUT i have other things to say: first off

Why does Robecca has an icoffin ?( i do base myself of off the webisodes even if the monster high franchise is used to incoherences) but still it doesn't make sense, because it stops the "from another time" trope which makes her too close to Operetta ( another underated character )

Also the book is weirdly racist with those Romanian twin vampires for absolutely 0 reason. Like it's not a plot point, it's not relevant and again even for something that came out in 2012 that's super weird and racist

Which brings me to my third point : stop introducing useless characters like ,i don't care who Henry is, i can't remember his last name. Same with the three-headed guy. No purpose ( also i don't like the added adjectives to describe the bodies of female characters, especially during action)

I'm on my way to read the second one, to see if it got better( also because no matter the quality, I'm so monster high obsessed i take what I can😭)

(forget the last post, I'm back up (doing better))

So I'm currently reading ghoulfriends forever because I'm a madman but again, why do they keep forgetting Jackson ??? Like you're dealing with a monster supremacist and the only normie is nowhere to be seen ?? ( And they can't even pull the "It was Holt" card because how could he have heard Miss. Flapper with his headphones on ) .Also it kind of reads like a fanfic ( and stop calling the group a "threesome" it's super weird, especially when caught off guard). But yeah if he doesn't just show up at the end with an half-assed silly explanation I'm writing a spinoff myself. Also aside from that it's chance is feminine in french so it's "bonne chance" and not "bon chance"

My friend offered me this beautiful peace of art. I am delighted.

you know what? You know what? im still never going to stop being peeved about the way people massacred the backrooms. the whole point of the original backrooms image, the thing that made it creepy in the first place, was that so much of it was unknown. and that's the appeal; that's why the backrooms as a horror concept is so interesting, so frightening in the first place, the idea that at any moment in your life, for some never to be known reason, you could just... end up, in an empty, endless labyrinth, one that looks so familiar yet so different, one from which there is nothing known within and no escape in sight. and what did they internet do with it? oh they added five million different "levels", five million different monsters, all this unnecessary complexity that does nothing but make the entire existence of the backrooms actively WORSE.

the vision of the backrooms as these super intricate crazy dungeons filled to the brim with terrifying monsters is the epitome of bad horror, because are you seriously gonna tell me that there's something scarier than the unknown? the original concept of the backrooms is so good because it's just so mysterious, and above all else, so hopelessly hollow. maybe you could find yourself in the backrooms and wander for hours, days, or years, and you'd never see another living thing, and you'd never ever find a way out. maybe you'd have died of starvation at some point, of course, or maybe the backrooms don't function in a way where you could starve at all. who's to say? there's no way to know! in fact, the only thing we know about them is that we DON'T know anything about them.

the backrooms are a place we all feel like we've been before, maybe in a dream, maybe in another life, but they also represent the fear in the back of all our minds of being in a situation that is truly unknown. when you are in the backrooms, you are at the mercy of a completely alien world where nothing may ever end and you will never find out what the meaning of it all is, if there ever was one in the first place. it's a world where you can do nothing but wait until you finally meet your end, if an end still is to come, and face the facts that there is so much to this world we just don't know. there is no way to enter besides an unfortunate dumb luck and there is no way, end of story, to ever, ever leave. and that—the all-consuming, completely unknowing emptiness—is forever scarier than any monster.

Sure the emptiness is a better as a concept but i think it evolved the way it did because there's nothing to say about it. Because it's a concept but there's nothing to get out of it. You can't build a story where nothing ever happens and everything is just slightly off. That would be boring at best.

The backrooms have just become diet scp and it was more interesting when it was simpler. In this essay I will

Personally I'm sticking to the wikidot. The idea of endless spaces all different sounds more indearing than "OFFICE."

If you're fifteen or older an still sleep with a stuffed animal please reblog this.

My friend is embarrassed and thinks she’s the only one and I said id prove her wrong.

Hi, Happy holydays everyone !!! I’ve been lazy lately (for a while) so here is a drawing i did about two months ago that has nothing to do with any holyday.

Both the book version and movie version of adult Henry are babygirls but the book version has more poor little meow meow vibes while the movie version is a skrunkly

Does that make sense?

Not really no, but i picture exactly what you meant !
