This is a masterpost for the evacuation fundraisers I've vetted so far. The numbers next to the names have no significance beyond ease of navigation for me for when I check their progress in the future. You should look at the disclaimers instead and focus on those. Occasionally I will update these with new info, including new fundraisers, and the amount of cash that's been raised. Check in regularly on the original post when you see it being reblogged. In all likelihood once its reached you it's already outdated. This post is part of this masterpost series compiling fundraisers for Ghazzah and Sudan. I focus on Ghazzah as I am Palestinian and am more equipped to do verifications as I'm more familiar with my own country and its politics and dialect, but if I know a fundraiser for a Sudanese family is legit I will include it here.

Surprised that tumblr isn’t talking about the death of Frank Tyson. A policeman killed him after kneeling on his neck. It happened on april 18th, but the video of his arrest got released today.

It’s truly heartbreaking, Frank Tyson was a 53 year old black man who had only been released from prison for 12 days. They pinned him to the ground with handcuffs and only 8 minutes of being crushed with the officers knee to his neck, even after he stated he couldn’t breathe, they realized he’d died. They waited 5 minutes to check for his pulse and 3 to commence CPR.

The Cleveland police murdered him, even making a joke of ‘always wanting to be in a bar fight and not being sure if this counted’. This was all caught on camera. On the police body cams.

His family hadn’t even had the chance to see him out of prison, their last sight of him and words from him is going to be the video of his death. A video where the circumstances are far too familiar to the death of George Floyd from 4 years ago. Please, the video is truly horrible. You can hear him choking. You can hear him calling for help.

If anyone has anywhere to support his family during this time or anything, please, we can’t keep watching black men be killed and watching the police laughing in our faces about it.

As a rule of thumb, don't reblog donation posts or people asking for donations unless they've been vetted and reblogged by Palestinian bloggers. We usually go to lengths to verify this shit because we know scammers have been faking to get people to send them money, using the urgency of our genocide as bait.

It's disgusting this is what we're dealing with, but people are losing money because of some truly evil people out there.

Accounts don't just randomly spring up on tumblr without gofundmes while asking for someone to help them create a campaign. Fuck out of here with that shit.

I'm also gonna stop listing the reasons why I recognize something is a scam. It's becoming more and more clear there is 1 person behind this STRING of scams and they're leaving less trails behind but it still reeks of them and their MO.

DO NOT TRUST ANY GOFUNDME OR REQUEST FOR CROWDFUNDING THAT PALESTINIAN BLOGGERS HAVEN'T VERIFIED.

At this point I'm fine receiving a bunch of inbox messages asking me to vet x y z so y'all can avoid this shit. But please have some critical thinking!
