Hey uh, I usually try to promote these kinda posts, but I really didn't think I'd ever be making one myself.

I'm really trying to get a car to get out from my parents control and into an apartment with my partner by the end of the year. I'm having a lot of trouble getting money to set aside for the down payment, even with a full time job. Between getting nickle and died to death, rent, and being in debt, saving is extremely hard for me right now.. I really need this car so I can get a 2nd job and get out of here.

On Wednesday, protestors stormed ICE offices. The ethnic cleansing police were recently revealed to be practicing forced sterilizations on incarcerated women. The following day, NYPD brutalized protestors anti-ICE and BLM protestors.

unpopular opinion: mental illness can make people behave in extremely toxic and sometimes even abusive or manipulative ways. relationships and friendships with mentally ill people can be extremely difficult, unpleasant, or even harmful. though this may not be intentional and i have sympathy for those who struggle with this, other people are allowed to remove themselves from your life for their own happiness and sanity. they are not bad people for this. the idea that someone *has* to stay with you while you heal or help fix you is wrong, people are allowed to prioritise themselves. it’s on you to seek therapy and heal. being mentally ill doesn’t give you a pass to behave in toxic ways and hurt others.
