- taqwah تقوى tawakkul تَوَكُّل
They used to comfort each other upon facing calamities by saying ‘it is but few days, and Jannah is the ultimate promise.’
Ibn Taymiyyah [رحمه الله] narrated: a man once asked one of the Salaf:
- How much Qur’an should we read?
He replied
- Equivalent to the amount of happiness you are looking for.

God Wrote a Book x
Husn Al-Dhan Billah (حٌسن الظّن بِالله), thinking positively of Allah (سبحانه و تعالى )
The meaning of holding onto a good thought of Allaah is such that if you were in a state of ignorance and you hold a good thought of Allaah that he will teach you. By exerting your at most in seeking knowledge, in understanding the deen of Allaah while holding a good thought that Allaah will grant you success and that he will open the gates of benefit for you. As Allaah says,
اقْرَأْوَرَبُّكَالْأَكْرَمُ
Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous,
الَّذِي عَلَّمَ بِالْقَلَمِ
Who has taught (the writing) by the pen
عَلَّمَالْإِنْسَانَمَالَمْيَعْلَمْ
Has taught man that which he knew not.
( Surah: Al-Alaq)
And Allaah has said,
وَاللَّهُأَخْرَجَكُمْمِنْبُطُونِأُمَّهَاتِكُمْلَاتَعْلَمُونَشَيْئًاوَجَعَلَلَكُمُالسَّمْعَوَالْأَبْصَارَوَالْأَفْئِدَةَۙلَعَلَّكُمْتَشْكُرُونَ
And Allah has brought you out from the wombs of your mothers while you know nothing. And He gave you hearing, sight, and hearts that you might give thanks (to Allah). (An-Nahl, Ayah 78)
And if you were in a state of illness and during this time of illness, you hope for well-being and you keep a good thought of Allah, then Allaah will restore you to good health. Allaah has referenced his Prophet Ibrahim when he said,
وَإِذَامَرِضْتُفَهُوَيَشْفِينِ
“And when I am ill, it is He (Allaah) who cures me.” (Ash-Shu’ araa, 80)
And if you are in a state of poverty and you kept a good thought of Allaah, that he will make you free from wanting then he will suffice you.
Allaah azzawajal says,
إِنَّاللَّهَهُوَالرَّزَّاقُذُوالْقُوَّةِالْمَتِينُ
Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. (Az-Zariyat, Ayah 58)
So many moving, living creatures, but none carries its own provision as Allah provides for it. Allah Azzawajal says,
وَمَامِنْدَابَّةٍفِيالْأَرْضِإِلَّاعَلَىاللَّهِرِزْقُهَاوَيَعْلَمُمُسْتَقَرَّهَاوَمُسْتَوْدَعَهَاۚكُلٌّفِيكِتَابٍمُبِينٍ
And there is no creature on earth but that upon Allah is its provision, and He knows its place of dwelling and place of storage. All is in a clear register. (Hud, Ayah 6)
If you are in a state of humiliation then keep a good thought of Allaah, that he will restore your honour to you.
And Allaah Azzawajal says to his Prophet say,
قُلِاللَّهُمَّمَالِكَالْمُلْكِتُؤْتِيالْمُلْكَمَنْتَشَاءُوَتَنْزِعُالْمُلْكَمِمَّنْتَشَاءُوَتُعِزُّمَنْتَشَاءُوَتُذِلُّمَنْتَشَاءُۖبِيَدِكَالْخَيْرُۖإِنَّكَعَلَىٰكُلِّشَيْءٍقَدِيرٌ
“O, Allah! Possessor of the kingdom, You give the kingdom to whom You will, and You take the kingdom from whom You will, and You honour whom You will, and You humiliate whom You will. In Your Hand is the good. Verily, You are Able to do all things. (Al-Imran, Ayah 26)
And if you are in a state of distress then keep a good thought of Allah that he will make a way out for you:
He will remove your grief and worries and rectify your affair, for this reason, Allah is more deserving to be held a beautiful thought about. Know that Allah is exactly how the slave thinks he is and that which you think of your lord will come true.
The proof for this is the hadith reported on the authority of Abu Huraira, in Bukhari and Muslim:
That The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Allah says: ‘I am just as My slave thinks I am, (i.e. I am able to do for him what he thinks I can do for him) and I am with him if He remembers Me. If he remembers Me in himself, I too, remember him in Myself; and if he remembers Me in a group of people, I remember him in a group that is better than they.
This hadith Qudsi, affirms that Allah is exactly how his slave thinks of him to be. So whoever thinks good about him than for him is this khair. At any time a person thinks good about his Lord then this good will always be for the slave because this Husn Al-Dhan (good thought) you have about Allaah will be how he is with you.
Transcribed from the talk Holding onto Husn Al-Dhan Billah (good thought of Allaah) is a great affair Oh slave of Allah: By Shaykh Yahyaa Al Hajooree (Hafidaullah)
According to narrations in Sahih Bukhari, Sayyiduna Adam was 60 cubits tall - this shirt was made to represent the height of Prophet Adam. عليه السلام SubhanAllah
“Allaah created Adam and he was sixty cubits tall. Then He said, ‘Go and greet those angels and listen to how they greet you, for that will be your greeting and the greeting of your progeny.’ He said, ‘Al-salaamu ‘alaykum (Peace be upon you).’ They said, ‘Al-salaamu ‘alaykum wa rahmat-Allaah (Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allaah).’ So they added the words ‘wa rahmat Allaah.’ And everyone who enters Paradise will be in the form of Adam. People kept on growing smaller until now.” Bukhari

“The Children of Oppression, the children of War, Never known a home, Never known clean running water, Never known a full stomach, Never known peace. Thousands are orphans who’ve never felt the love of a mother. Orphans who’ve never felt the love of a father. Instead of board games and Netflix they work all day trying to keep their family alive. Trying to live while there’s a constant chance of an indiscriminate missile strike. 72 years mankind has failed Gaza, 72 years we’ve watched in as they die and suffer. 72 years we’ve witnessed children starve to death or be victims of ruthless air strikes or even die due to the cold. Where is humanity?” Source: @Whereishumanity
Everything about the Qur'an just changed for me ..
