Cooter’s Sad Face He caught a pretty big cotton rat today, and I’d have to say his bunny confidence is coming up a little more. His chases have more intensity today. I’m thinking of hunting him in the morning since he didn’t eat the whole cotton rat. This picture looks like he’s saying, “But I tried, I really tried!”😢 It’s ok little buddy…we’re gonna get you a cotton tail👊

Awww…that looks like the bird version of ‘pouty puppy face’…you must be really strong…he would’ve owned me with that face! — One look like that and I would’ve been off chasing down a rabbit, National Geographic style, just to cheer him up… ;)

Well he did get an extra hand out. He was very offended because I “tossed” him toward a bunny that was running into an open area…thought it was a good opportunity but he wasn’t a fan. He flew about 50-60 yards away and sat on a pole until I offered him a tidbit. He was a little soggy with all the dew and humidity this morning😔 He’s acclimating to his human hunting partner well, but it’s a constant work in progress. He prefers to follow in the trees rather than ride on a t-pole right now. He’s the most amazing little guy😊
