Keep in mind that she was talking about sort of out of character things like fashion and dates and kissing Ryuuko in the episode. And you know, there’s one character that we know is capable of cloning and disguising herself perfectly. Also, remember the “death” in episode 21? Yeah. I wish I didn’t think of that thing either.
Or it’s symbolism for Mako taking Nui’s place as Satsuki and Ryuuko’s little sister.
