Writing system and pronunciation
These are the letters that make up the script: ა ბ გ დ ე ვ ზ თ ი კ ლ მ ნ ო პ ჟ რ ს ტ უ ფ ქ ღ ყ შ ჩ ც ძ წ ჭ ხ ჯ ჰ.
Georgian has a very large consonant inventory. There may be up to six consecutive consonants at the beginning of words.
Grammar
Nouns have two numbers (singular and plural) and seven cases (nominative, ergative, accusative, dative, genitive, instrumental, adverbial, and vocative).
Pronouns are also marked for case. An i- may be added to them to express directionality.
Verbs are conjugated for tense, mood, aspect, person, and number. They are classified into screeves, each of which represents tense, aspect, and mood.
Dialects
There are five main dialect groups: Northwest, Southwest, Central, Northeast, and Eastern. Northwest dialects include Imeretian, Lechkhumian, and Rachan. Southwest dialects comprise Gurian, Adjarian, and Imerkhevian. The Central group is made up of Kartlian, Meskhian, and Javakhian. Northeast dialects are Mokhevian, Mtiuletian-Gudamaqrian, Khevsurian, Pshavian, and Tushetian. Eastern dialects include Kahkhetian, Tianetian, Ingiloan, and Fereydanian.
Central Georgian dialects are the basis for Standard Georgian.
I'm sorry this is one of the funniest tags that's ever been left on one of my posts
“A wolf pack: the first 3 are the old or sick, they give the pace to the entire pack. If it was the other way round, they would be left behind, losing contact with the pack. In case of an ambush they would be sacrificed. Then come 5 strong ones, the front line. In the center are the rest of the pack members, then the 5 strongest following. Last is alone, the alpha. He controls everything from the rear. In that position he can see everything, decide the direction. He sees all of the pack. The pack moves according to the elders pace and help each other, watch each other.” Cesare Brai’s photo
