Hey long time no see, friends! Rewatched a bunch of comfort movies and remembered how much I adore these two! They are absolutely one of my fave Disney couples of all time and nothing like an old flame to break me out of the longest art block of my life.

Also apparently there will be a third movie??? Am I the last to know???

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy this as much as I did drawing it 💕

“Well, we’ve come to an impasse,” Hermione says solemnly.

Fred presses his lips together and hangs his head. “I don’t know if I can do it.”

“What does this mean for us?” she asks warily.

With a slight shake of his head, Fred slumps towards the table. “It’s the end of the road, I guess.”

“We don’t have to call it yet, we’re having a good time,” she points out, reaching across the table to grab Fred’s hand. In return, he squeezes her hand.

“But I’m done. And you’ve… You’ve made your choice.”

Hermione stares at the cup in front of her and hums. “There’s really nothing I can do to convince you?”

Fred glances at her with narrowed eyes. “To drink a peppermint mocha? No, Hermione. I’m not drinking chocolate toothpaste.”

She throws her hands up. “It’s not chocolate toothpaste! And we’re not ending our bloody date fifteen minutes in because you can’t pace yourself.”

“But your drink smells, ‘Mine,” Fred whines.

Hermione uses her free hand to pick up her mug and takes a sip. “Oh, you’ll taste it yet,” she hums.

“I am not drinking that horrible concoction,” Fred says.

Hermione smirks over the mug at him and squeezes his hand. Fred feels like, somehow, he’s just lost.

(Fifteen minutes later when he leans across the table to kiss her and gets the overwhelming taste of peppermint, he understands that he absolutely did lose.)

HAPPY HOLIDAYS, @mamisketches !! As you know, I was working on a fic, but life happened, and that fic gave me so much trouble, so it has been delayed by a few weeks. It will still be coming, and I will still gift it to you, but in the meantime, here’s a little gifset and drabble!!

One thing I really like about Tyler’s storyline is that there’s so much potencial to be a commentary of how marginalized groups will often fight among each other in order to fit within the status quo.

Jericho’s citizens live in “peace” with the outcasts, but just with >some< outcasts. Those able to be tamed and who have assimilated into the town’s culture. But it’s the outcasts who must assimilate the normie’s way of life and not the contrary.

The students of Nevermore are are warned to not go perpetrating “outcasts stereotypes”. They go and participate in the normie’s society and the town’s traditions, but it’s never reciprocated. The normies don’t go to Nevermore for a day to get to know the school, and socialize with the different, to understand the types of outcasts and who they are.

They want to be accepted so bad that they’ve turned against one of theirs, one who can’t tame their natural conditions, so they’ve banned them from attending the school, while the other outcasts, the good ones, and the normies live in harmony. They can co-exist as long as the ugly part of them stays hidden. And, those who just can’t suppress that nature, must simply be eliminated and remain unspoken.

It’s the maintenance of this system that allows cases like Tyler to exist and allows the anger of the oppressed to be weaponized by those in power.

And isn’t this the reason why Wednesday clashes so much with Morticia? She thinks her mother gave in, she fell in love, become a housewife and therefore lost the individuality and the part of her that was different.

Wednesday doesn’t want to change and confine herself in the expectation of others, in what’s considered normal. So, I believe that when she’s able to get over the anger of being used by Tyler, I feel like she can really empathize with him and his anger. And maybe both of them can overthrown the system, idk.

my brain has never recovered from the damage of reading chapter 283 of bleach. what do you mean ichigo was losing the fight because he didn't want to scare orihime and he started to win when she reassured him she just wanted him to be safe. what do you mean he said he's "not ALLOWED to get hurt" just because she asked. what do you mean he stopped grimmjow's attacks without taking his eyes off her. HOW DO I MOVE ON FROM THIS.
