Starting a New Journal

My aunt gave me this journal last summer, and I’ve finally figured how I want to fill it up.

I always make a chart in the front and back for easy access in divination and symbology.

Manifestation tips

⚡️ If you want to manifest something quick don’t ask for something specific, ask for something general like “a great opportunity/experience” this way you don’t have to face limiting beliefs.

⚡️ Say “wouldn’t it be nice if…” when you are in a good/happy state of mind (and then move on with your day)

⚡️ Write your abundance log! It will make you feel better (and will help you with your vibrations/manifestation abilities)

⚡️ Be grateful for something!! (As many things as you can but one thing is completely fine)

⚡️ Are you running late? Stop for a sec, breathe in and say “I’ll be there in time”, keep doing whatever you need to do (it works for me every single time)

⚡️Do you feel lost? Ask for a sign! Don’t be afraid of saying “universe (god/spirits…) give me a VERY clear sign!” (Or ask yourself for the sign you want to see)

⚡️ Be careful of how you speak. Say “I don’t master my drawing skills yet” instead of “I can’t draw fml”

⚡️ Don’t bottle up your emotions. Are you angry/sad/whatever??? Accept it, experience it and go and do something you like. (If you deny emotions you’ll keep attracting situations where you’ll have to feel that emotion over and over again because you’ll be operating from that low vibration)

⚡️ Think about the time you manifested something and feel that excitement again!

⚡️ Ask how you can improve your relationship with yourself. Are you denying anything to yourself?? Do you really want to do something?? Act accordingly (if you feel good about yourself you won’t have thoughts like “ohh but I don’t deserve this!!”)

⚡️ Do/go through your manifestation board on Pinterest and keep pinning stuff (it has to feel fun and easy)

⚡️ Having trouble letting go? Try to physically do something else. If you’re expecting a phone call put your phone down and go out/read a book/do your laundry…

⚡️ Having more trouble letting go?? Repeat to yourself “I need to let go, I need to let go, I let go” and do a little shake with your body (I usually shake my shoulders, arms or hands depending on where I am)

Note: this is all from personal experience, doesn’t mean it’s the ultimate truth. Just some tricks that work for me and hope they can help you manifesting things in your life.

Any ideas on keeping myself more mindfull? I really try and I often find myself in moments of 'enlightenment'/ mindfullnes where I feel love towards everything, live in the moment and experience everything more vividly like i'm more alive. I used to have this kinds of moments more in the past but they are so rare right now

Moments of “enlightenment” and love toward the Creation are nice. Those can be inspiring and re-orienting experiences.

Mindfulness is an interesting practice as it has been getting more mainstream attention. People seem to confuse it with living in the moment, paying attention to what is happening around you. In fact, that is just the first step of mindfulness. It is a gateway

So lets talk about gateways to mindfulness.

A gateway is an entry point. You don’t just stand in the door, you walk through it. Each gateway has an emphasis that is helpful. When you get the gist of the emphasis, it is time to step through the door.

  • Pay attention to your surroundings. Focus on your sensory experience of this moment.
  • This gateway is meant to bring you out of your head. If you are lost in thoughts about the past or the future, this teaching will bring you into the present moment.
  • At first, this will be very liberating. If you compulsively life within past and future, it will be as if you have entered a new world.
  • Soon, however, you may start enacting the same illusions in a new context. Such as:
  • Fixating on what you like and don’t like about the present, manipulating the present to suit your needs, adjusting your costumes of identity to revolve around present things, etc.
  • Time to try another gateway.
  • Follow your breath. Rest your attention on the flow of your breath moving in and out of you.
  • The breath is dynamic. It is always in movement and that gives you life.
  • A breath in and a breath out is enough. It is all you really need right now in this moment.
  • Don’t allow your desires and fixations to expand beyond your breath. Just breathe and be grateful.
  • You can use the pace and rhythm of your breath to set your inner tempo. It helps calm us down when we get flustered, emotional, or turbulent.
  • This doesn’t shut down our inner experience of emotions and such, it slows it down so we can process and understand what we are feeling instead of being a victim of it.
  • This activity doesn’t need to be boring or entertaining.
  • Be engaged. It will become peaceful.
  • Eventually, following the breath may not be practical.
  • Your attention may be needed for other things.
  • It’s not easy to follow your breath while doing complex calculations!
  • You may become so still and peaceful that even the movement of the breath can feel like a disturbance.
  • You’ll notice this if you start holding your breath between inhaling and exhaling or exhaling and inhaling.
  • Time to try another gateway.
  • Inhabit your body fully.
  • This behinds with feeling your entire body but it doesn’t stop there. Imagine your body is like a thought. In meditation and mindfulness, you discover that you are the space in which all thoughts flow.
  • Similarly with the body, you are not the feeling of you body. You are the space in which the sensation of your body occurs.
  • The way I describe it is that you are what wears the body.
  • Look at your hand and feel the sensation of your hand. Then shift your attention such that you realize you are the space in which the hand is felt.
  • This can feel like you are wearing your hand like a glove.
  • Do this for each body part.
  • Then do it for your body as whole.
  • Abide in your body, like an athlete ready to leap into action.
  • Fully relaxed yet fully present.
  • This is something more doable to maintain while going about your daily activities, but its a bit more subtle and challenging as well.
  • There is a lot more to the practice.
  • Two books I recommend are The Enlightenment Process and Belonging Here both by Judith Blackstone.

All of this will give you an idea of different ways to approach mindfulness. There are many more approaches in the book The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle as well.

Practicing daily meditation will deepen your mindfulness practice, as mindfulness is meant to bring the meditative flow into daily life.

Try it and things will never be the same for you.

Namaste :) Much love.

a word of advice: open your windows. wash your sheets. exfoliate your legs. read a paperback. make your bed. moisturize every inch of your body. go to sleep with soft skin and sheets that smell like the wind and a mind full of words worth dreaming about
