it is so upsetting listening to so many males talk about all of the times they have gone on road trips alone and slept in their cars alone or on the side of the road, or travelled overseas alone and slept on the floor of strangers homes or in parks or at hostels and they appear to have such freedom in that they are able to be alone in ways that females, unfortunately, cannot…and there is an ignorance surrounding this in that these boys never seem to comprehend just how fortunate they are that strange people and unfamiliar places and the dark of night are not their enemies but rather exciting, promising things

Jackie Kennedy decided to stay by her husband because she loved him entirely and wanted to fix things, even if things weren’t fixable.

Jackie Kennedy was sitting right next to her husband when he got shot in the head and immediately put her hand up to his head to maybe stop the bleeding.

Jackie Kennedy held her husbands brains in her hand and then reached back for help.

Jackie Kennedy wore that blood stained suit because she was broken and traumatized.

Jackie Kennedy stood outside the little operating room while everyone tried everything to save her husband, while she sat in a blood stained suit; not just any blood, it was blood of the man she chose to stick by even though their marriage had completely fallen apart.

She sat in the fucking waiting room knowing that there was nothing that could be done, because she had her husbands brains in her hands in the car that was supposed to be safe for both of them.

Jackie Kennedy is a fucking goddess and she endured more with JFK than any woman ever should and I adore her and no one will ever convince me otherwise.
