Okay so I think I’ve got a touch of the mania atm but the phone store across the way from my job is hiring and I’m kind of loathing my new promotion bc I thought it would come w better hours and a raise but it j came with a raise and more responsibility with I can’t take on rn bc for those unaware I’m taking care of my grandmother w cancer rn because my mom (who was taking care of her) got diagnosed w cancer and now it’s like I straight up don’t have the time or energy to take care of her bc I’m constantly thinking abt work and I’m also scheduled for at 3 hours 4-5 days a week and 8 hours one day a week anyway let me know if I’m insane I’m gonna go in today and see what he’s looking for hours wise and see what the perks and pay are

Okay so I found out that the phone store is looking for 35 hours a week, hourly+commission with a shift start at noon 5 days a week. He also says I’d have Sunday Monday off which is great cuz I can have a reliable day to go to the doctor. He also strongly hinted I get my phone bill for free soooooooo much to think about……. I may literally cross the floor

The saga continues!!! I put in a resume at the phone store which was a task in itself given that I work at a mall and my boss was working today so I had to be in and out before she saw me handing in an app literally across the hall. I went in incognito mode like w my old glasses, my clothes I wear for working around the farm that kinda thing. And then as if that wasn’t paranoid enough I went in one door and then out the back door of the pet store because I quite literally do not want my boss to know I’m looking for another position because I don’t want to have that conversation until I have a solid way out. Anyway buddy at the phone store says I’ll hear back soon and I’ll be having a zoom interview soon which is a relief because I Don’t Want My Boss To See Me At An Interview. Even if I don’t get this job, my dad’s friend at a law firm in the Next Town Over wants to hire me when the books allow for it so my eggs aren’t all in this basket (although the phone store would be ideal and much less pressure I think) idk I just want a desk job where I don’t have to panic all the time about work and making ends meet I’d like to just have one or the other ideally
