on the other hand, a negative presence can drain you causing your mental health to deteriorate further. make sure to be mindful of such people and create some distance from them before they start to affect you and your life.

a soft reminder: even though you might be disappointed in how you did this year, you still made a lot of progress. you tried and tried again, so many times. every little thing you achieved. every breakdown you got up from. every moment of happiness you encountered. every little act of self care and kindness you did. it all matters. they all helped you grow. they are all small victories to be proud of. it's not always clear to see, because day to day everything feels the same, but I promise you've come a long way since the beginning of the year. so please be extra gentle with yourself when looking back. be proud of yourself too, if you can. you did well.

It’s all coming. Whatever you’re starving for, whatever that ache is that stings your bones, it’s coming. The love, the happiness, the adventures, and the creativity that you are seeking, it is all coming for you. Here’s the thing, don’t let your right now get away. The things you find mundane, keep them. Store them in the pocket of your favorite coat like found pennies. They aren’t futile. Do not let them cause you to feel empty and hollow. They are going to be worthwhile. Keep the hunger for what is coming, but please, keep a tight grip on these little ordinary moments that are happening right now, because they – these tiny pieces of this ordinary affair you find yourself in – are the foundation to your extraordinary. And I promise you, if you begin to recognize your right now, you’ll see your extraordinary coming.

- Try to step into other people’s shoes more!
- Assume someone has a kind genuine heart - don’t let insecurity ruin things before they begin!
- Don’t be afraid to be sad - pain is just a part of living your life to the fullest!
- Notice your automatic unnecessary mean thoughts towards others (and yourself) and try to correct them!
- Try to find magic in everyday things! Be excited for things other people don’t care much about!
- Don’t be afraid to be yourself! Wear clothes you love and speak from your heart!
- Know that you don’t have to be cynical to be intelligent! You can be kind, positive and intelligent!
- Limit your social media - some sites are filled with cynical opinions and views!
- If someone makes you happy, make them happier!
- Be confident and love who you are!
- Love your hobbies with all your heart even if people don’t really understand it!
- When it comes to anything, just do your best! If you do your best, failing wouldn’t be a failure because you tried!
- Don’t listen to people who say life is meaningless and you’ll die alone and other self-defeating views!
- Fall in love with your life and appreciate your friends and family with all your heart!
- Try out for things and be brave! Even if you fail at least you tried!
- Bake sweet things and decorate them with love! Cook nutritious meals for yourself and loved ones!
- Collect cute objects that mean a lot to you!
- Do little things out of love to surprise people and make their day!
- Fill up journals and diaries with your doodles and ideas!
- Share good things, hugs and food with your loved ones!
- Be fascinated in the world around you, whether it’s butterfly, tree or birds species!
- Fall in love with learning new things!
- Spend less time with people who take advantage of you or aren’t kind to others!
- Learn to sing and play a musical instrument!
- Take care of something small like a houseplant or a cat!
- Learn a fun sport like riding a bike or rollerblading!
- Remember the beauty in the world, and write about everything that makes you feel warm!
