I finally sorted this out. This is for the Leonard "Bones" McCoy and DeForest Kelley enjoyers out there. These are the songs that just really remind me of him:
WHAT
This is from Voyager!? I just assumed the McCoy invented a new brain surgery came from beta canon.
How fun!
And even better, McCoy would’ve canonically been what in 2253, about 25?
I’d be pissed and admire him with passion at the same time if he’s one of my classmates in med school.
Twenty four years ago, on a sad June 11th at 12:15PM Pacific Time, DeForest Kelley passed away at the Motion Picture & Television Fund Hospital in Woodland Hills, California.
On June 25th of that year, his ashes were scattered by boat in the Pacific Ocean, off the coast of Pt. Fermin by the Neptune Society.
Pt Fermin (below) is located in San Pedro, near Long Beach, California. It has a park, a beach, an old lighthouse and beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean.
Below is Pt. Fermin’s general location within California.
Pt. Fermin held importance to De and his wife Carolyn, as it was where they enjoyed time together when they lived in Long Beach in their younger days. They had lifelong friends in Long Beach, so I imagine they visited this place throughout their lives together.
A view of Pt. Fermin looking out to the Pacific Ocean.
Rest in Peace De.

Like I know this is just supposed to be some friendly ribbing about the differences in build between Kelley and Urban but its way more fun to interpret it as TOS Kirk wanting to fuck AOS McCoy.
keep it together, Jim
The Difference Between Spirk and Spones
Spock, holding McCoy bridal style: …
McCoy: You’re very strong Mister Spock, now wouldja put me down?
Spock: Only if you wish it, Doctor. Is that the case here?
McCoy: You shut your damn mouth with that.
vs.
Spock, holding Jim bridal style: Do you wish me to put you down, Captain?
Jim: Mister Spock, you can hold me forever if you like.
Me: I'm perfectly cognizant of the constant passage of time.
Karl Urban: *turns 50*
Me:
Happy birthday to our AOS Bones (June 7, 1972), and thanks for imbuing him with such love and dedication that DeForest Kelley would have heartily approved.
51 today! Well, we already know he’s good at portraying a cranky old (young) man…
Please tell me, is anyone else obsessed with Ensign Vorik’s voice???
Oh okay so I am not alone….
So. The trailer is out. Happy?
Asdfghjjll 😭🥰🥰
Pop Culture/ Fanon McCoy: He is always an asshole, he will insult his patients to their face, enjoys being mean.
Canon McCoy: Promises not to dissect a tribble because it would make Uhura sad.
THEY ARE THE SAME. THEY ALL. THE WHOLE FAMILY OF DRAMATIC MFS IN HOODS.
Dr. Leonard McCoy, Let's Talk About Your Heart
Why does this in all seriousness look like the poster for a comedy where an environmentalist activist hermit targets a rich asshole’s yacht club party and then it turns out they’re actually long-lost twins
Had a conversation with my coworker today about the transporter thought experiment and his answer genuinely horrified me, so I'm going to pose it here:
This is something what Mccoy would do right now just to know how many of us fools would risk going to the transporter.

Hello there
I have been deeply invested in your The Barons Painter fic but it seems the master list doesn’t have some of the links anymore? I can’t seem to find chapters 4 or 5 anywhere and I’m absolutely feral about the story lol. Is there any way for you to attach those posts? Or may they be found onAo3?
Thank you 💜
Uh oh....
UHM........ Okay, I haven't continued this fic in SO LONG. You have no idea. But it's still on going and I have to re-write a little bit of the precious chapters cause it's full of flaws. And yes I posted this on my Ao3.
Here's the link:

May I present this picture to the court?
if you or a loved one have been subject to…
Basically... That's pretty much his entire thoughts about starfleet
Volume 3 of O’Henry’s Playhouse was just released on DVD. This volume contains De’s episode called “The Hiding of Black Bill”.
Unfortunately, nothing really exciting happens in this episode.
Although he plays an important character to the plot, his total screen time is less than 5 minutes. His two (beautiful) smiley scenes are the only things of interest.
And then of course, they misspelled his name in the credits (didn’t anybody check how names were spelled back then?).
Volume 1 of this series has a much better episode with De called “Fog of Santone”.
