Today is not only Stan and Ford’s birthday, but also the 10th anniversary of Gravity Falls! Many of you, especially people who have been following me for years, know that I drew A LOT of GF fanart, especially featuring Stans. My obsession with this show inevitably went away, but Gravity Falls is in my heart forever! It really helped me get better at drawing and to expand my audience <3
Happy 10 year anniversary to everyone! I got into this show way late, so for me it's just been something like a year and a half. But I can't believe this show is already ten! Thank you all for this time, for all the fanart, and fics and friends! It's been awesome and here's to many more!

It’s really annoying when you go to a restaurant and the staff is ‘wearing masks’ but they’re below their mouth and they carry your food around and just stand there in front of people who aren’t wearing masks and you don’t want to be rude, but there’s no way in hell I’m eating that now and I already paid for it so that’s a huge waste of money

Absolutely blazing take but embryos and fetuses are only considered babies when it’s of convenience to the people in power
Gestational parents can’t get life insurance for their unborn child but a person who doesn’t want to be pregnant can’t get an abortion because of the rights of the fetus
Loss parents have to fight to get birth and death certificates for their babies (which are only available in certain places) but parents facing a termination for medical reasons have to fight to take their child off of what is essentially life support because they’re considered fully autonomous while being part of the gestational parent
It’s all hypocrisy and the term “baby” is absolutely used as a weapon. It’s not a developmental term, it’s a social term that can refer to a spectrum of developmental stages. Hell- and adult child can be someone’s “baby”.
The thing I find hilarious about Skyrim is how shocked everyone is that Dragons exist

“Pffft. Dragons my asshole.” says the Ivarstead mailman, as he goes to deliver a package to the Greybeards, whose entire shtick is that they speak dragon and use the dragon-made Thu’um.
