I was telling A that no matter how convenient or comparatively cheaper it is to buy books online, nothing beats entering a bookshop and discovering a new read in person. And there’s no need to buy necessarily. I find even a blurb from the back of a book can marinade in my mind for days giving birth to a multitude of ideas. And even a small chat with the staff about book recommendations keeps the love of books moving forward. The experience itself is fulfilling.
