Condoms and the idea of protected sex have been around for a while now, but what might amaze you is how much someone might pay for these used condoms made from fish bladder. Austrian Dorotheum, housed an auction for these five condoms. These condoms could be reused about ten times each.
If you look at the box, there are signs of crosses on the packaging that may indicate how many times the condoms were used before by the owner. You would think that would drive the price down, but no, they sold for 2000 Euros.
hi! just want to say i love your art sm <3 if it's not too much trouble can i request fanart of sansa with [CUTE BOY OF YOUR CHOICE]? her common ship prospects are kind of dire!
Girl yes!! But help, where can I find a boy who is around her age, kind, decent person, not sharing same blood, not married or attached to an oath, and alive in the asoiaf universe 😭 like, the bar is not that high and still cant think of a character that deserves my girl, help
Okay okay okay, so here they are, boys who we think would be nice and good to our girl, funny but only Pod has had interactions with her.
They are Podrick Payne, Edric Storm, Edric Dayne (same name for both huhh) and Jojen Reed.
This reminds me of an old au i had where Tyrion wants to set Sansa up with Podrick because he's a good kid and maybe they could be happy together and that would make the whole "forced to marry the Imp" situation a little more bearable
That’s a super light story huh? My great grandfather got killed in action from a land mine to protect this country. If you don’t wanna respect the history or stand for a national anthem😁then leave to your peaceful home and fuck right off
How did your great grandpa stepping on a landmine protect this country

Happy Memorial Day
My great grandpa was a prisoner of war held in a nazi death camp and he'd think that "love this country or leave it" attitude is fucking stupid. In his honor, eat some cheese and be nice to native women and shut the fuck up about honoring the flag/the troops
There's a lot of anti-Romani racism in Dracula, and today's entry marks the start of it.
So I thought it might be a good opportunity to highlight some organisations that are working to promote Roma rights, and some ways, alongside donating, that you might be able to support them.
The European Roma Rights Centre carries out strategic litigation to support Roma rights, as well as doing advocacy and research. You can sign up to volunteer for them here; one volunteer-run project currently live is called Challenging Digital Antigypsyism, and focuses on identifying and reporting hate speech on social media platforms.
On a similar theme, Minority Rights Group International has a campaign toolkit on countering cyberhate against Roma. The focus of the campaign is Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia.
In the UK, Friends, Families and Travellers works to end racism and discrimination against Gypsy, Roma and Traveller people and to protect the right to pursue a nomadic way of life. If you're in the UK, you can ask your MP to sign their pledge card. And if you witness discriminatory comments in politics, you can report that here.
The Roma Support Group, based in London, works with Eastern European Roma refugees and migrants. They have a number of volunteer roles for people with regular time to offer.

Every day I get closer and closer to no longer identifying as trans, and simply being a genderless intersex person. Because the average trans perisex person is just as fucking intersexist as the average cis perisex person, and I'm so fucking tired of it.
Y'all try to split hairs and decide which experiences are "trans man experiences" and which experiences are "trans women experiences," and you try to cram nonbinary people into "transmasc or transfemme," and you insist on splitting trans people into categories based on their birth assignment, and you fucking wonder why you're not making headway in any actual gender liberation.
Assholes.
Throwback to the time I posted on Facebook about how scared I was about the rise in transphobia because someone in my neighborhood had just screamed "TRANNY!" at me from a car window, and a (now very much ex) friend decided to lecture me about how I wasn't as high-risk as some hypothetical trans woman and me talking about being scared was akin to cultural appropriation.
This. This is why we can't make any fucking progress. Y'all are more interested in discourse over who's allowed to identify as what or reclaim what slurs, and meanwhile, the average person is still going to call all of us trannies from the car window. And then probably shoot us and claim it was self-defense.
Everyone else talked about outdoor cats, it's time for me to talk about offleash dogs
Reasons not to have your dog offleash at a public park:
1) roads (this one is self-explanatory)
2) it makes the park inaccessible to like, entire swathes of the population. If you have experience with police dogs or guard dogs in your neighborhood, or you're a new immigrant from somewhere with a large population of feral dogs, it sucks ass going to the park and having someone's massive lab bound up to you!
3) If, for example, you are in a protected wetland area plastered with friendly signs asking you to please leash your dog to avoid causing an ecological impact, having your dog offleash might cause an ecological impact! "Oh no, my dog is well-behaved, they would never bother the wildlife" wrong! your dog is in the pond trying to eat the endangered Blandings' turtles!
4) Non-zero chance of a jokerified park guide (me) just clipping your dog to a leash and stealing them
5) “Oh but my dog is friendly!” If your unleashed “friendly” dog runs up to my leashed UNFRIENDLY dog, and my dog bites yours, guess who’s getting the blame despite doing everything right?
6) Allergies. “Oh but my dog is friendly!” oh well that’s great I guess I can just put the epipen away because, yknow, he didn’t mean to induce anaphylactic shock, it was all in good fun, nothing to worry about!
7) Small children, the elderly and disabled people. “Oh but my dog is so friendly!” When your friendly dog slams into me/jumps on me/knocks me over I am just as injured.
Is science culturally Christian?
It's culturally Jewish because Jews were out there making incredible scientific contributions while Christians were still figuring out germ theory, hope this helps :)

Thanks to the generosity of Tumblr, we got a room last night and slept about 12 hours. Still, I don't know how we can keep a roof over our heads without further help. My mom will keep contacting charities. Meanwhile, I keep these posts going.
Anyway. I'm queer and autistic; my mother is 60 and has a long list of health problems; both of us have anxiety and depression. Our dog and cat (emotional support) are also with us, which means it's motels or nothing. And we can't do another night sleeping outside.
If we can just get through the end of this month, my mom's disability check will come, and we can pay for at least a week ourselves, and more options will be available for assistance. We're doing our damnedest to get some real housing, and I'm trying to get a job. We just need support.
*PP strongly preferred, because our bank takes a whole business day to let V3nm0 through*
P.S.: Apologies to my followers. I also wish I wasn't doing this, and I'll come up with a blacklisting tag if y'all ask. As usual, here's a cute picture of my cat.
Checkout time is coming up. It would cost about $90 to renew for another night here, but if we have to check out and make a new reservation, it'll be more expensive with the per-stay pet fees. If y'all could just get this post some exposure, we would truly appreciate it.
We are set for one more night! You people are fantastic! If this post keeps going, we might just get through May without having to sleep outside again.
For real, we still need help getting through the next few nights. 😬 Please keep this post alive so we can stay alive!
2 hours until we have to leave.
not proshipper not anti but a secret third thing (person who has a career in the media and, through covering legislative politics, has watched "associating with problematic fiction or entertainment is an indicator of moral degeneracy" rapidly become a mainstream GOP position that they are encoding in legislation to target the queer community under the guise of protecting children, thus coming to the conclusion that positioning the "can people enjoy things that would be immoral IRL in their fiction" debate as a proship v anti fandom debate is akin to pretending that "should we have the death penalty" is a discussion that only matters in Death Note discourse — the extent and manner to which fiction affects reality is an issue that is immediately relevant to today's US politics, and to summarize my opinions on the matter in fandom terms would be to diminish the ways this debate is affecting america Right The Fuck Now. and i have stopped taking "this person is bad for shipping the wrong anime thing and being horny about it" in any sort of good faith ever since I saw it literally used as part of a GOP smear campaign against a transgender state legislator in an attempt to defend the right from backlash after they used their supermajority in the Montana house to prevent her from speaking on the floor. Anyway I think everyone on this site, especially Americans, could benefit from ceasing to think in proship v anti vocabulary and instead developing coherent political positions on the nature of fiction that do not directly align with current fascist political tactics)
and yes, this does pretty much align with the "proshipper" position — to be clear, i'm firmly in the camp that it's literally fine to ship whatever and engage in fiction however you want and people are not morally wrong for making art that engages, even gleefully or pornographically, in dark topics. the reason i still choose to not call myself a proshipper is for a few reasons:
-there are so many different implications under that umbrella, and i resent the dichotomy that reduces so many different positions on so many different aspects of media studies to two different labels. such a framing actively stifles discussion and prevents people from having tough and thorny conversations about media with people they mostly agree with
-i think "proshipper" is only a useful positional label for people whos primary mode of engagement with media is through fandom. but as a journalist and queer person, the main ways in which the "does fiction affect reality and how" issue interfaces with my life have nothing to do with fandom, so it feels backwards to me to define my opinions regarding media in relation to the area that has the least relevance to my life
-i want my actual opinions to be the most visible part of how i engage with fandom, rather than a label that will cause everyone to draw nuance-stripped conclusions that vary depending on which "side" they fall on. i want people to listen to me, not project their expectations onto me and listen to a phantom of me they've created
-why should i? if people are willing to engage with me regarding media discussion, it shouldn't matter whether i choose to identify as a proshipper or not — they should treat my ideas on their own merits. and if people think that i'm a sick freak for "condoning" whatever is problematic these days, they're not going to care what i call myself, they're going to call me a sick freak anyways. and im kinda petty and want them to actually have to read my posts and rub two braincells together to interpret things and think critically about how to label me instead of seeing "proship" and slamming the cancel button

I’m all for going about queerness with the goal of not being able to be understood by outsiders but like. you’ve GOT to be normal about aro & ace people if you do. you can’t go on about being confusing to cishets for fun and then complain about ace & aro people who go about sex and romance and attraction in ways that don’t make sense to you.
supporting queerness that confuses others should include queerness that confuses YOU too even if you’re queer yourself.
