Another digital painting practice. This time with Kenzo & my friend @mad-hatter-rici's character Aimi, who works as his assistant/right hand. She's kind of a goofy ice cream loving fiend Grand Fairy, which is a fun contrast to the overtly serious nature of her job.

Color keys I painted for the "Go Home, Gwen" sequence in Across the Spiderverse. The direction I was given was to make Miguel look as menacing as possible!

.....I could've also included his nurse/medic assistant uniform, but it's basically gonna be similar to IRL ones. Also His Demon Bug Boy form's colors are kind of supposed to be somewhat of an inverse to his usual greens, yellows and blues. His wings are based on the Lunar moth.

I'll work on his brother's bio tomorrow I think, I'm outta design juice for today.

anyways yeah the jank colors are Especially Bad in this issue (seriously, WHY IS SHE GRAY-) but. like. Spider-Man 2099 #10 (1993) is genuinely such an important book for understanding Who Miguel O'Hara Is both as a person and as Spider-Man. you cannot remove him from the context of his family and upbringing and still have the same character at all

Finally finished the update for the third Kravchenko siblings, the baby of the family! For his style, I ended up looking for inspiration from the gorgeous Polish traditional patterns, given the family surname/the fact in the OG story long ago with just Kaspian and Sebastian, the boys were polish. (Seriously they're really amazing to look at, also kind of familiar feeling, given Finnish traditional patterns share similarities.)

OFC I had to simplify a LOT to make sure its something I can accurately recreate more than once lol, the more fancy, intricate things are better left for one-off pieces.

Also had to include stuff from the Trickster brand (something existing in-world) because Janus's bro is a designer for it lol

Here are the "winners" of this poll. Funnily enough you all managed to pick the only 2 dads on this list who are single lmao (also 2/3 whose kid is not their biological child)

Kuromoya is single, because his intended love-interest ended up being put into NCP storyline instead (I may still give him one later on in other words), and Angus is single because I just can't really imagine him in a romantic relationship - which is actually why I made him aromantic in the first place lol (Not to say aros can't have a relationship like that ofc, just that in HIS specific case, it doesn't feel like something he'd want/need narration vise)

While I was looking for inspo for some other character, I spotted this really cool Japanese fashion dress that I felt Ava would ABSOLUTELY wear (I mean, her dad is technically Japanese (long story why I'm using 'technically' lol, lore/fantasy stuff), so I always felt like her style would have some influence from there), and I had to draw her in one inspired by it.

I really like this lineart style I've been fooling around with. Also gave some extra info about her, such as the whole lore reason for her overtly elaborate hairbun lol. Also the "mum 2" she's referring to is her dad's right hand woman Aimi, who used to babysit Ava a lot when she was small/still tends to check on her for her dad.

Asked my friend yesterday if I could design Aimi an uniform since she works for my character Kenzo. Also decided to try out a new lineart style. It's kinda messy but fun.

Whew. This bio somehow required more pieces than I expected? TWO uniforms, at least one casual look, and his spirit form, which at least I could just base on Shinji's, as all Dreameaters/bogeymen look similar in their default humanoid spirit shape. Not to mention the constant thunder we kept having, so this took even longer than it normally would :T Hence the At-home looks are a bit simple looking....lost motivation at this point lmao

Anyway, Avane's dad, formerly a villain in the OG story, now more neutral character, though still has dark undertones. (This new story doesn't really have "villains" basically)

Decided to put the siblings together, also decided to make relationship charts for them too. Gianna does have a mermaid form as well, but she uses it very rarely so I decided not to include it here.

Color explanation for the chart:

Red - sibling, Orange - teacher/mentorship/respect/idol, Green - Work relationship, Magenta - Love interest, light pink - neutral/sees them often, blue - friendship

There's no official designs for Shura/my friend's oc Shika yet for this modern version, so I just came up with stuff based on their other story looks. Also yes, Jurou was ABSOLUTELY an Angsty teen.

....I forgot to draw Jurou's chest tattoo, as it would be lightly visible from under his shirt, but TBH I'm too lazy to add it anymore; it's too hot here. Maybe I do it later

FINALLY. I was so busy so this took me 3-4 days. Mali is an aunt you don't wanna mess with. (She has that mama shirt because she is essentially fostering her nephew btw) Side note: She normally wears those brown boots/black versions of them with the green flame shirt design as well; I just wanted to draw her with her dragon feet there lol

I had this idea for Pride month ever since I made Clover's new design. I actually re-used two of my old works for this, as I still liked those pieces and wanted to revamp them anyway.

Franziska and Angus do understand the concept of Pride Month and why it exists unlike Clover, as they have lived in human world, whereas Clover was born, and lived in Mirror World his entire life.

(I need a better name for the place lol, current one is mainly coming from the fact you access it through mirrors)

Given his cluelessness about all this, Clover likely just picked the rainbow flag, because he thought it looked pretty. Also Henrik of course has penguins in his pan sweater (And yes it is warm, but he refuses to change lol).
