My work centers my experience being an African immigrant who came into their transness but never truly saw themselves reflected within existing narratives dealing with the diaspora. Trans identities are hidden within the diaspora made to make us seem non-existent, I want to honor my trans ancestors as I live and create discord to archive those alive today who keep going despite the marginalization they face.
