The ancient city of Rookspire is plunged into chaos when their legendary masked vigilante, The Red Raven, goes missing. Young adventurers (played by our students) rise against the inscrutable plots of devils and necromantic nightmares, but alone, they stand no hope. Only the veteran former adventuring companions of the Red Raven (played by celebrity guests), once a well-forged team of great heroes, now scattered, can help the novice protègès overcome the forces of darkness amassing against them.

Do you like DnD??? Do you like contributing to great causes?? Do you like VIDEO GAMES AND ANIME? Well the great news is that my mentor from college (and an entire team of passionate creatives from oh so many artistic and technical fields) are putting on a FANTASTIC live DnD 5e game for charity!

There are two factions in the game: Cabal of the Crimson Flame and the Cerulean Circle. This is the process I took when designing their emblems.

Nick Logue will be DMing the game and he is an incredible physical actor who spec’d hard into stage combat, and is an absolute blast to watch (o also he used to write for WotC back in the day). Celebrities will be teaming up with some of the theater students to put on a great show as they play through Nick’s original campaign, all of which will be accompanied by art (by yours truly!!), music, and live story telling like I have never seen before.

The legendary Red Raven has gone missing! Where’d he go? Who would want Rookspire’s ancient protector gone? Did he leave anything behind? Tune in to find out!

It will be streaming live so you can watch it from anywhere, but at the end of the day this is all about the charity!

So if you’d like to learn more, here’s a link to the donation page with way more succinctly delivered information about the event, the story, and the cause.

It would mean the world to the students of Windward Community Collage and everyone who took part in putting this all together, especially Nick. I was honored to be asked to be apart of this amazing experience by providing the art and some play testing and you can definitely feel all the love, sweat, and tears that went into making this project come to life. Donations are of course highly appreciated, but the event itself is going to be FANTASTIC and if nothing else, I want to do whatever I can to bring attention to the talent and love for gaming that we have here in Hawaii. Even if you’re not on the islands, tune in if you can! It will be streaming for free but the broadcasting videos are still TBD

crawling out of the art pit to share an event which I did the art for!!!!

i took a hideous portrait that i was never thrilled about and redrew it as a portrait that i actually like quite a lot! to be fair to 2016 me, i didn’t use any lighting references at all and also i wasn’t as good

I drew my Sword team and had a great time because Pokemon are v easy to draw after having done all 12 of my WoW characters lmao

The last game I played before Sword was Silver so I can’t comment about the latest game but what I do know is that a lot of the new pokemon were absolute winners and it was hard to pick a team cus I liked so many

also, let’s trade league card codes! mines is 0000-0007-4XRC-JC

This is my character, Bannerjee, from the game Heart: The City Beneath. This is him at the start of his journey into the Heart and then his final form (where he is completely made of bees).

He’s plagued by dreams of the eternal hive and must venture into the Heart to find a new home for the Queen, all in hope that this will make the constant buzzing stop and that he may once again enjoy a silent sleep

While all this sounds pretty cool, he’s currently a loser who has tripped/fallen into a hole like twice and got knocked out by, what was obvious to everyone but him, a zombie.

i’m gonna try illustrating a screenplay i wrote about a sci-fi man so i’ve been trying to figure out some armor concepts. i know in my heart to keep it simple because I def don’t wanna be drawing something complicated for like 15+ pages but i can’t help myself.

also debating if i wanna go for something practical (which is more fitting for the tone) or stylized and simple (much easier to draw)

i dont have much to say about my priest except that i do not understand her but at least the outfit is something i am v proud of

also... my project is complete!!!! well almost, I’m hoping to redraw my warrior since he looks pretty bad in comparison to all these newer ones, but for now i am very satisfied with how these all came out and am proud of myself for completing the project

Other Characters: Warrior | Warlock | Hunter | Paladin | Druid | Death Knight | Shaman | Demon Hunter | Mage | Rogue | Monk

if ever i had to fight and fight and fight with a drawing just to get it decent, this one takes the cake!

rogue is probably my least favorite class to play but i goddamn love the undead and this armor set, so i wanted to do my boy justice. it was fun to frankenstein all my sketches together to make something usable, and overall i’m pretty satisfied with the pose and the painting on the face

of all the backs he’s stabbed, i never thought he’d stab mine

it’s him, my favorite sketch finally completed

i like to think i’ve gotten better at picking simple poses that can still be interesting even if they aren’t necessarily the most dynamic or actiony. turns out it’s a lot easier to churn out character drawings when you aren’t hung up trying to think of the best pose possible

Other Characters: Warrior | Warlock | Hunter | Paladin | Druid | Death Knight | Shaman | Mage | Rogue | Monk | Priest

here’s my frosty boy who is definitely the red-headed step child of my WoW roster (as my only alliance character) and yet he ultimately shines as one of my better drawings so far :/

while i don’t have much lore for this character i suppose it’s kind of fitting that i solo’d the Lich King for the first time with him, so i guess my headcannon is that he looted LK’s cloak and also got Shadowmourne n___n and also that he got Invincible on his first try even though it took me years and like hundreds of kills

Other Characters: Warrior | Warlock | Hunter | Paladin | Druid | Shaman | Demon Hunter | Mage | Rogue | Monk | Priest

it’s ya boy wearing some good ol’ Judgement Armor. i thought adding the hair would make it more personable but actually i think what makes the armor so neat in the first place is the fact that the helm makes the wearer look so faceless (so as to judge u better)

Other Characters: Warrior | Warlock | Hunter | Druid | Death Knight | Shaman | Demon Hunter | Mage | Rogue | Monk | Priest
