Off on vacation (woo Coachella!) for the next week and change, got the queue all set up!
Honestly, the only thing getting me through this amount of studying right now is pictures of 2013 TMH Harry Styles (the infatuation is real), some weird detox tea, coffee and writing quotes on sticky notes. ALL DAY. ALL NIGHT. Sleeping schedule? I don’t know what you’re talking about.
I wanna make you laugh and kiss you everywhere
Why don’t jedis turn off their opponents lightsabers by force pressing the button?
I’m laughing so hard because instead of the epic lightsaber fight they’d just be aggressively switching them on and off could you imagine
…… I HAVE TO GO
John Williams knows what he’s about.
#literally the first thing I noticed when her theme started#this is why I can’t get behind the theories that she’s not his daughter#haha#when we got back from the movie my dad was like ‘I didn’t notice any of the new music’#which was bonkers to me because it was EVERYWHERE#but I think he honestly thought Rey’s theme was just Luke’s theme played with higher instruments#as opposed to this gorgeous motivically linked entity#that compliments but is not exactly the same as stuff from the first three movies (via @musingsofmaura)
I mean this is kind of how leitmotifs work. The two were together at the end of the movie clearly getting ready to work together, and so you can expect the music to come together and create something new representative of that relationship. I wouldn’t go so far as to say that means they’re related (though they still could be). It just means their stories are intertwined.
LITERALLY THE BEST EXCHANGE IN THE WHOLE MOVIE
This was in the library at my college.

I don’t have any answer to this but I hope you feel better :’( But here is a great example of astronomy and how awesome humanity can be

Alison Bechdel
Alison Bechdel and her father go up to the counter and order the same thing.
But is it really the same?
Before the computing era, ILM was the master of oil matte painting, making audiences believe that some of the sets in the original Star Wars and Indiana Jones trilogy were real when they weren’t. They were the work of geniuses like Chris Evans, Michael Pangrazio, Frank Ordaz, Harrison Ellenshaw and Ralph McQuarrie ! Forever thank you, to their handmade art and the work of their colleagues, that made us dream of impossible worlds and fantastic places across Earth and the Universe.
