to celebrate the imminent release of Tears of the Kingdom, I offer you a handful of smol koroks who might look suspiciously familiar :0

I have 4,147 pieces of cc. Something broke during the last update. The game constantly crashes whenever I load my farm on Henford-on-Bagley...my medieval save is essentially unplayable. I already removed all script and tuning mods, and I combed through functional objects in exhaustive detail, removing any with custom tuning. I still. cannot. find. what. broke. Is this what hell is like

Um, so, I have no idea what you have or have not tried to know if you've done this or not, but I had a mod installed that I wanted gone and literally could not find for the life of me (name wasn't related at all, so searching was useless). Best bet is what they all say, remove the mods folder all together.

I just moved the folder to a separate area and made a 'go through' folder separate from that. Open up game first and see if your save still crashes - if it does that it's obviously not mods related and something else is going on. Once that's done, if you have anything you've deemed safe, stick it back in your mods folder.

Once you get that done, start moving stuff in bulk into your 'go through' folder and then put them back in game in smaller groups with a folder in mods for that specific group - makes it easier to narrow done stuff if your save starts crashing with a new group in.

When your save crashes with a new group, it's essentially a game of back and forth with moving files in and out of game to narrow everything down.

Just make sure to never save when you leave the game. I've had to do this on 3 separate occasions (broken mod, files got out in wrong area (game literally wouldn't open), and that one mentioned at the top) and it's the best way I've found at weeding stuff out - even if it is annoying AF to so
