i yearn to be treated with the utmost care, akin to a tiny, wounded animal. cradled in diluc's gentle embrace, as though i am crafted from glass, susceptible to shattering at any moment. i crave the concern of him, diligently tending to my wounds with a soft touch, offering soothing reassurances when i flinch from the sting. i need him to carefully envelop my delicate arm in bandages and caress each and every one of my scars with his tender touch. i want to feel the callouses of his rough hands as he holds my face and wipes away my tears. i want to be nurtured, want him to kiss my forehead with gentleness and wrap me up in a blanket like a burrito while rocking me back and forth in his lap. i want him to tuck me in bed, surrounded by an abundance of plush pillows so i can feel warm and comfy. i long for the warmth of his embrace, i desire to be held in a manner that suggests i might vanish if released. i want him to whisper sweet nothings into my ear as i drift into slumber, seeking solace in the affirmation that everything will indeed be alright because he will always be there for me.

i keep thinking about how much blame i see being put on diluc about attacking kaeya and it drives me absolutely nuts that he’s painted unequivocally as the bad guy. i absolutely don’t think that is the purpose of that story at all. it’s about two kids, agonized by guilt and grief and horribly misplacing those emotions. kaeya went to diluc knowing it wouldn’t end well. diluc had just killed his own father. i feel like it’s wild to expect any sort of normal reaction beyond blinding anger. the point is, this is not meant to be a “who is in the wrong” backstory. it’s about two young men who, faced with a series of terrible circumstances, lost their last remaining familial connection. and in the current story, we’re seeing the clumsy, stilted journey the two make towards reconciliation.

Diluc Kaveh Kaeya Zhongli + An s/o (i prefer fem! reader) who can sing oh so beautifully. More specifically, hum. The way they hum is like no other at all, it's a sad slow and melancholic tune. Like a fallen angel's melody echoing through the human soul.

Your blush is obvious and that satisfies diluc who ended up just kissing your cheeks out of adoration. The idea of you being all shy around him makes diluc want to kiss you even further…oh well, maybe soon?

Guizhong cheekily plays her lute during bouts of silence. Xiao caresses a finch while he holds on to his god's every word.
It works; everyone's more relaxed and less on-edge when convening like this.

"Why are you avoiding me?" It was those words that made you look up from the book novel that you are reading. There was your lover hovering over you, causing you to frown and slightly move away. "I have no idea what you are talking about."
"Don't lie, even now you're avoiding me." This time, he looked so frustrated, he look like he was about to cry if you do actually admit you are avioding him in which you are not. "Look, Luc. I'm not ignoring you, okay?" You spoke, brushing him off as you stood up and went towards where the open window is.
He went towards you to follow you when you hold up a hand to make some distance between the two of you. For the first time these days were you have been avoiding him, there was a pained look on his face that made your eyes go wide. Quickly setting your book down as you hurriedly chase after him who was now walking out of the room. "Wait! I'm not ignoring you, I swear to Lord Barbatos! I just need some distance between us okay?!" You explain in panicked.
"Isn't that the same thing?" There was a small sad smile on his lips, "Are you tired of me- of us-?!" "No! That's not what I meant! It's just you're hot!" .... "Huh?" He was dumbfounded. What did you just say? "I'm hot?" "No! Not the hot you're talking about but you're hot, it's hot!"
Then it sink in, these nights were you refused to be held, the lack of skin ship the two of you had except for a kiss here and there. You putting up a good distance between the two of you. It is summer, and it is hot as fuck. And he is a pryo user and they sometimes emits heat unknowingly, it can be because of the cold, or maybe because of the heat that it affects them unknowingly.
