This is the worst webdesign I've ever seen on the site since it's inception, what the hell is this. It's so clunky, cluttered and just awful. Who thought this was a good idea at all?

I was wondering about Shape and Colour Language. I understand the concepts, but I'm still unsure how to put them to use. I thought of this when redesigning one of my characters. I noticed that the shapes I used confused me after not looking at them for some time. (the OC in question is on the Good side, but is still Dangerous.) What's the best way to design a character in a way that makes their motive clear, but their strength unknown to another person in such a way, that it makes them seem a little unsafe to be around?

Oh, this is one of my favorite tropes! This type of character depends on three things: 1 - Are you trying to deceive the audience? 2 - Are they meek or prideful? 3 - How dangerous are they? Think about how the character holds themselves, cute and meek, or prideful and full of strut? From there you can decide how far you want to deceive the audience and how dangerous the character is.

Hello there! Your work is looking spectacular as always! I dunno if you heard, but a new game by the name of "Decarnation" came out recently, and it reminded me of your project Cheer Up Pill Popper! If you haven't seen it already, I'd recommend it as it seems right up your ally.

Hi, thanks! I actually haven't seen this, it looks awesome omg. Totally up my alley of horror and especially sprite horror. I'm a huge fan of sprite games. Thanks for the recommendation, I'll give it a try once I got some spare cash~

Howdy! Tired of juggling 5 different social medias, well me too! Patreon has recently introduced a video feature and with that, it is finally possible to condense all my cross-platform posting onto one site! This doesn't mean I won't stop posting on other sites, but with the upcoming death of Twitter and Instagram basically nuking all artists, now is the best time to give me a follow on my Patreon for FREE. You will get all social media updates across every platform without the threat of ceasing to exist! Following my patreon is basically like a stress-free emailing list. Get all the usual updates and social media stuff without any of the bullshit! Sounds great to me, hope it also sounds great to you! Now if you want to take it a step further and $support my patreon here's the current membership options and goodies. Thanks!

Welcome to Hellven

“Hellven is an adult supernatural drama set in a death church run by the grim reaper’s daughter. Follow Lilith, Kimberly and Dante as they defy the Gods and investigate the origins of vengeful spirits, finding more than they ever bargained for.” Cover for my new concept/series, thank you for your support!

Updates | April

Hi everyone!

We move onto a new month, a bit late on my part but was busy catching up with project work. I have completed Hellven’s Lineup and am trying to find time to do the next piece of concept art. Midworld part-3 has been taking up all of my free-time.

I'm pulling out all the stops on it. Every year it's a paid opportunity to push myself and get better at my craft. In this "everyone is out of a job" climate, I consider myself really lucky to be fully employed.

Thank you for supporting me in this era of AI art, massive lay offs and overall just shit conditions for artists. I've been doing well blocking all the noise out, focusing on my work, but many haven't been so fortunate.

Here's to things getting better!!!

Hellven | Character Designs

Some early Hellven designs before I altered the story. Lilith was the one who changed the most in the redesigns, while Dante had his silhouette tidied up. This lineless style was interesting to work in, but it’s not really “me” as an artist. I love bold lines!

Hello! Thank you for answering my question about OneNote! I have two more questions if that’s ok. Do you have any advice about story outlines and organizing your story? aaand… *puts two fingers together* May I still make fanart of Skully?

Yes! So if you are making a concept or story of sorts, it's important for scale to HAVE AN SIMPLE OUTLINE!!! A lot of creatives, myself included, struggle with-bloated concepts, adding too much, biting off more than we can chew. So here's how I avoid that now: I break it down in 3 sections : Main concept - Characters - Series Breakdown. Section 1 : [ Logline, Themes, Compare, Genre, Tone, Aesthetic, Environment, Series Concept ] Section 2 : [ Main cast only, Enemies ] Section 3 : [ World Building, Series Acts ]

Each section is 1 - 4 pages long, and each category is no longer than a paragraph. It's easy to write out the bios of 20 characters, don't. Not if you're serious in making a story, you want to focus on the main theme and the main characters. Realistically, tackling 1 - 2 plot lines for a graphic novel can take up 200+ pages, soooo yeah. Be smart with your time and what you choose to tell. Good luck~

And fanart is always welcomed :)

Hellven | Beatboards

Before Hellven was established as a new concept I did a storyboard/animation for it with voice actors. I put a halt to the project to revamp the whole idea and will eventually return to it in the future. But for now it’s time for character sheets~

Hello! Just want to say love your works, and am looking forward to your future projects. I love Skull-Kidz and watched the series grow over the years. I’ll miss that kickass fire gal 🔥✨

I do have a question. I saw a post MK with an image from OneNote. If it is ok to ask, how do you use the program for your project and do you have any other programs (Word, G.Doc,etc ) you’d recommend?

Thank you so much! I'll miss them too, It's been tough moving on and working on the next cover which is a massive painted illustration, ah gotta keep pushing on. Onward to the question - I'll show yah! If you are writing outlines for your stories, which you should, there's many ways to keep track of it. I used onenote for Skull-Kidz, but I REGRET doing that. Onenote is pretty buggy/laggy and I ended up making a bloated packet with too much stuff in it. I don't use it anymore, instead I use google docs with a table of contents to easily flip through my different sections, and keep the outline/pitch short. I think you can also do the same with word if you have that.

You want to keep your outline short/simple easy to transport, export and make edits/read through. So far have no issues with Docs compared to the constant lag of Onenote.
