I am both in awe of their rhythm and if fear dor their ankles. *chef's kiss*
I learned how to dance something similar to this in the third grade. in Cambodia it's called the Pestle Dance, and it is WAY slower than this, and it is still REALLY hard to do the turny bits without getting your ankles banged up. it was my least favorite dance to learn because it hurts like a bitch when your foot gets caught. that is god-tier levels of talent.
I‘m so happy to see traditional Filipino dances being hyped up here! I grew up watching these dances everywhere and have even seen diaspora kids dance hip hop ON TOP of doing the tinikling dance 🌟🇵🇭🔥

I like to think that Bruno was amazing with the kids and they absolutely loved him. Of course Mirabel and Camilo didn't remember much about him besides the negative stuff, but I love how Isabela, Luisa and Dolores never bad-mouthed him in the movie.. so that leads me to believe that they were all besties :')

three important things to remember right now:

So a few people have mentioned Camilo shapeshifting into Félix when his powers start to malfunction after being zapped meaning he had been trying to emulate the way his dad calms down Pepa which is very sweet, so allow me to elaborate on that now.
Camilo tries to stabilize himself and probably thinks of his Abuela's stoic nature and ability to keep it together so he subconsciously channels her.
But the minute Camilo bumps the counter, spilling the hot coffee on himself and yelping in pain, he turns into Agustín, because he associates his tío with clumsiness that typically leads to getting hurt.
He briefly transforms back only for the pot to hit his foot, causing him to scream in pain as Agustín again, really telling us how Camilo views his tío.

SO: I started this because I was inspired by Augustin and Bruno forming a close relationship in the fic All I Really Wanted Was a Really Tight hug BUT this got away from me and it really has nothing to do with that source inspiration anymore haha! I wanted it to be on the record cause i don’t get inspired enough to make fanart often but yeah! It’s really not related to that anymore and can just be a general fanart haha! Anyway, BAD LUCK BROTHERS, RIGHT?? >:)) Might go back and color this later but I feel very done with it. I hope you all like it! :)
