The Best Barbie Movie Ships (In No Specific Order)

This is going to be mainly sapphic ships!

Mariposa and Catania

I said no particular order but these are number one. I’m sorry Barbie fandom but I love them more than Alexa and Liana. These two girls make me so much happier. I don’t really know what to say about them other than the fact they are an extremely wholesome ship that has some of the best moments in the Barbie Cinematic Universe for me.

Alexa and Liana

Even if they aren’t my favorite doesn’t I hate these two. This is still a top tier ship and honestly they are really cute together. They are truly the closest thing the BCU has to a canon gay couple.

Kristyn and Hailey

It aches me that there is no fanart of these two. I can not explain how much I love them. All I really have to say is watch Pink Shoes, you can watch it for free on Amazon I think.

Malibu and Brooklyn

Currently rewatching their movie (Big City, Big Dreams) and I truly believe they are the key to fixing this franchise. Two more films are coming out about them and I can’t wait to see them.

Isla and Barbie

I saw this movie when it came out and I distinctly remember young me sensing something between these too. And when I rewatched it the other day, I realized I was right. The best part is Ken can’t even get in the way between them. The entire movie is filled with “this is Ken, he’s such a close friend, he’s like family to us.”

Eden and Catherine

You can not convince me that they didn’t adopt Tammy together and became her mothers. But I can’t really explain why I love this ship so much, I just do.

Barbie and Raquelle

When I say I love Barbie and Raquelle as a ship, this is what I mean. Not Life in the Dreamhouse, but the two Fairy movies with them. They define the rivals to friends to lovers trope. I can actually (and will soon) go into depth about why they are dating.

Rosella and Antonio

One of the few straight Barbie ships I like. Antonio is one of the best male love interests and these two are just really cute.

The Musketeers

One of the two poly ships on this list. I love these four. They just work really well together. And that’s really it.

Julian and Anneliese and Erika and Dominick

The next poly ship. They literally all got married in the end. They all have so much chemistry and I love it.
