“I’ve never done prosthetic before. I like that second skin. I like what it brought to me. It’s like, as soon as I had it on, you feel in character. I wouldn’t feel anywhere near it if I didn’t have it on.” - Sofia Boutella

When we were in that place, Krall would come and take someone. There were screams, I can still hear them. And we would not see that person again. We did not know who would be next. My father planned an escape but we were seen by the one they call Manas. My father fought him so I could get out. He was brave and Manas killed him. What you want is impossible.

Can we just take a moment and appreciate Bones for a second?

In TOS “The Apple,” the inhabitants waste NO time slapping their prom corsages on the landing party. Spock complains right to their faces that his makes him uncomfortable. Kirk is slightly more gracious, waiting until after they go back to the hut to apparently discard any memory whatsoever of his.

Bones, though? Keeps his right where they left it. No complaints, no questions. No snark. He just rolls with it. This was a gift, and dammit, he’s going to wear it.

Look at this man. I have zero doubt that Joanna painted his nails in glitter AT LEAST once and he wore it all week proudly.

“Besides, anyone can feel the way they want to, correct? You don’t have to worry about it at all. Okay?”

Aditya Kashyap demonstrates the correct way to deal with unrequited romantic affection.

(Geet does end up with him in the end, of course. But it’s because she comes to terms with feelings she’s had for him all along, not because Aditya “earns it” or pressures her.)
