It’s okay to grieve for lost potential.

It’s okay to grieve for time spent surviving instead of living.

It’s okay to wish you could go back and change the past.

And it’s okay if you don’t feel up to it yet, but one day you’ll be able to stand up and decide to create a new future to make up for it. 💞

please go to sleep knowing you are needed, wanted, beautiful and lovable. don’t be so harsh on yourself; you are doing just fine, and your happiness and well-being is the priority. eat something. drink water. get some rest. i love you. you can make it through this

you deserve people who listen to you ramble. you deserve people who love it when you’re excited, when you’re happy. you deserve people who check up on you and wish to see you well, people who not only accept you for who you are - but rejoice in it. 

it's ok to say no if you aren't in a good headspace to help out a friend. it's ok to say no if you don't feel like doing what you've planned anymore because you need time to yourself. it's ok to say no if you're uncomfortable and unsure. it's ok to say no if you just don't want to. it doesn't make you a bad person for putting yourself first.
