Funny theory that since it’s canon in the light novel that Kunikida can shoot Dazai with a weapon made from his ability and it won’t hurt him, I like to think when Dazai’s really pissing him off he just whips out his notebook, shoots him point blank and keeps walking.

Dazai is so silly because sure, Chuuya has got Dazai on his list of dislikes but trusts him with his life and Dazai is the only person who gets to see him vulnerable and that's a bit pathetic but then you have Dazai who doesnt have Mori, the guy responsible for his best friend's death on his list, doesnt have his actual worst enemy Fyodor on his list, doesnt have Ango, who he genuinely believed to be a traitor on his list. No he has the guy who shot him down at 15 on his list of dislikes. He has the guy who he cradles and whose cheek he keeps holding, who he keeps pulling into his lap when unconscious, the guy he constantly sets up as the prince in his damsel in distress wish fulfillment plans, the guy who has seen him genuinely silly and stupid, the guy who got him to stop a war by simply being mad at him, the guy who has been running laps in his brain day and night for the past 7 years. That's the guy on his list of dislikes...
