Wouldn’t be amazing if you could see all of your female ancestors at like age 25? All at once? Like you walk into a room and they’ll all in order there and you could talk with them all and see the story of your lineage? What were they doing at my age? What did they all look like? Would they be proud of me?

resist the urge to give up on healing just because it is slow
I try to be as aware, forgiving, gentle and kind in all aspects of my life as I know how ( yes, I mess up at times - I’m human - I do not claim to be perfect ). & even as I practice these virtues as often and best as I know how, I must also practice self preservation. It is not selfish to walk away from spaces I am not being honored in and held by. I can have compassion for the hurt underlying the behavior of another, but that does not mean I am supposed to accept their mistreatment.
I must protect the safety of my own heart.
