The best thing I can offer him is a safe place. A place where he can be himself. A place where he can feel appreciated. A place where he knows that with me he’s home. It’s what he gives me and it’s what I give him. I can be the embodiment of safety and comfort in this mess of a world. That’s what I’m here for. That’s the love I offer.
