This is one of the most adorable Pride posts I’ve ever seen
What I love about the imagery of the turtle is that it’s sending the message that they are protecting themselves by being in their shell. It’s not about deceiving straight people (like we are often told), but about the turtle’s own safety. They’ll come out when the time is right and they feel comfortable. 💕🏳️🌈

This joyous person is Mark Kanemura! He was a very popular contestant and top 6 finalist on season 4 of “So You Think You Can Dance” and he’s amazing. He’s been a backup dancer for Gaga, Katy Perry, and Janet Jackson. He’s also been a choreographer on Drag Race. He is A DELIGHT.

Y’ALL I FINISHED A PRIDE PIECE ON TIME!!!!! (we’re not gonna mention how this was already drawn for Pride last year and I never finished it… OOOOOP). It’s been a long while since I posted the OG boys here, so here’s my pic I finished this year for y’all!! I LOVED the reference I used for this and totally saw Johnlock in the couple, hee hee.
Anyway, honestly I really do like this one, colouring turned out well and I like their faces for a change. Happy with the final piece! Hope you guys like this year’s pride pic, and I’m HOPING to have a Husbands pic done for August (my city celebrates Pride in August, so I like doing two every year, hee hee).
