Recommend 'username art' or 'username fic' and put it in the top five tags to be searchable iirc. Unless Tumblr rules have changed, which they may have? General 'my art' kind of tags may actually bury a post (or again, it used to).

Let’s talk about the tire lever thing for a minute.

It’s been pointed out numerous times that at the start of HLV, John is behaving rather…Sherlockish. He’s rude to his neighbor, he’s pretty brusque with Mary, he has a sarcastic response to pretty much everything (“Cause there are loads of smackheads in there and one of them might need help with a tire.” “I’m asking you if you’ve seen Isaac Whitney and now you’re showing me a knife – is it a clue?”)

Perhaps the most interesting (and hard to catch) bit:

“I’m looking for a friend. A very specific…..ffffffriend.”

The pause, the dragged-out F, the biting edge to the last syllable…sound like anyone you know (and miss desperately?)

From the moment he wakes up next to his pregnant wife dreaming of someone else entirely, John Watson is doing a damned good Sherlock Holmes impression in HLV. Which makes this:

“It’s a tiny bit sexy.”

“Yeah, I know.”

All the more interesting. John’s acting like Sherlock, and it’s sexy, and he knows it.

I am now left to my deductions, is that it.
