once upon a time in a galaxy far far away there was an awesome family. everyone loved them but they all died and none of them got happy endings because the people who owned them were selfish and prioritized money over the happiness of the people who loved these characters. the end.

I wonder if Disney/LF conducted any (internal) test screenings of TROS...like, at all. Forget the online reaction - all of these reports of children crying in the theatre is pretty much the opposite reaction to what I’d assume they were hoping for.

i wouldve been ok with this ending if they would have ben solo show up as a force ghost with rey at the end. i could live with that

I'm calling it...

Ben put a baby in Rey's belly when he brought her back. Just force dropped the necessary ingredients right where they needed to be...don't judge me, if Rey can just make a lightsaber appear in his hand from 3 rooms away, he can make a tadpole appear in her ovaries from 3 inches away. His hand was RIGHT THERE. Immaculate Skywalker conception 2.0.

I have a lot more thoughts on the movie and I will take time to properly put them out there later, but I just wanted to leave this here for now.
