You mean when Lexi put on a school play in front of all students and teacher where she humiliated Cassie, made her seem shallow and ditzy and then showed her most embarrassing moment on stage?? Who sadistically bullied who now? And wdym "lied to her to the others"?

Also I love how Cassie literally went behind Maddy's back to hook up with her abusive ex three weeks after the breakup, but that's not what matters, what matters is that she "insulted her" idek when.

This is going to be a bit of a rant but when and why did we stop teaching people that Internet is forever and you should be careful about what you put out there? That's what I was constantly told when I was younger but now suddenly we have young people crying on TikTok, airing out their dirty laundry in front of everyone on YouTube, oversharing, posting pictures barely covering their genitals or in general stuff they will cringe about in a few years. Okay yes, you can delete it but people take screenshots.

When I was younger we had entire lectures from adults about internet safety and how everything you put out there stays there and now you see OnlyFans models saying: "Oh well, once I don't want my nudes online anymore I just text my lawyer and he takes them off, it's that simple"🤦🤦🤦 with confidence. Where did this come from?

Also young people seem not to understand that other people see the things they put out there, it's not their personal diary. People will see it, form an opinion about them based on it and comment on it. My sister was just complaining to me that a classmate is "stalking" her because she opens her stories without following her. Like honey, that's not the same as stalking. You put that out there. Ofc it's weird that she is actively searching for her to look at her stories without following her, but still it is something that she actively chose to post. If she doesn't want people to see it, she should not post it.

Or I saw a post here on Tumblr saying that if you look at someone's blog without their "consent" it's like you're standing in their doorway looking into their room when they asked you to leave, which no it's not the same. You actively choose to put out content on your blog for other people to see it. If you don't want people to see it, write it in a personal diary.

Anyway, I think we should bring back teaching young people to be mindful of their online behavior and more importantly to go touch grass sometimes instead of constantly posting every detail of their lives online.

I hate how political these new TV shows are becoming. What happened to mindless enterntainment to turn your brain off to? If I wanted to hear about gun control and the state of American healthcare system I would just read the news instead of watching How I Met Your Father.

I mean it wasn't overwhelming political but there were references that made my roll my eyes. The biggest one was Barney's cameo. The whole scene was basically the creators saying: "Please don't cancel us, we have learned our lesson!" They wanted to have their cake and eat it too by having Barney say all those gross jokes he did in the original (because that's what makes the character funny) and then electrocuting him to show that they don't approve of it.

Another example of this is Never Have I Ever. Don't get me wrong I loved the show but did they seriously have to include a storyline where a gay woman is scared that she has "toxic masculinity" because she is the only woman in the robotics club??

Anyway that's why people prefer the old shows- they don't want to be preached to about the dangers of toxic masculinity and saying problematic things to women, they just want to turn their brains off and escape the real world.

Also do they not realize they are alienating their own audiences? Not everyone lives in the US and not everyone understands American politics. For example when I was watching How I Met Your Father I had to look up what is the "don't say gay bill" because it was referenced in one episode.

Apart from that these things will make the show feel dated and less rewatchable for future generations.

Season 4 of Never Have I Ever was so good! However, I hope it's the final one. When teen dramas start to go beyond graduation they lose track and overall decline in quality. I was pretty sure this was going to be the last season because it would be such a perfect ending for everyone but then I think Joe McEnroe said: 'I am done... For now." What does that mean? Will there be a season 5?

Oh no I see this Rory hate made its way to my country as well🤦. The first caption says: "Rory is a horrible person. She treats people who care about her like trash and no one calls her out on it."

And the second one: "Her behavior in the finale (I think they mean AYITL) buried all her hard work in university and ruined all chances for promising future that she had"

I can accept the second criticism because she really did act unprofessional and all over the place in AYITL, even though I do not agree that all her chances for being successful ever are ruined. But the first one? "She treated everyone like trash" at least give one example? I bet you can't even think of one but you are just saying that because everyone says that and now it is trendy to hate Rory.

I am the only one who hates the unnecessary Rory hate because in a way I take it as a personal attack? Like there is a girl that is smart and tries hard but makes some mistakes and there are all these people willing to crucify her for it and calling her names. I just feel like if I was a fictional character everyone would hate me for making any small mistake ever. Like: "omg she is a writer but she doesn't write" and I just feel like a failure because I also sometimes have periods when I don't write (I think every writer has). Let's just stop holding people (even fictional ones) to impossible standards.

Apparently now Friends is problematic because in season 1 (which aired in 1994 I might add) "Carol and Susan's relationship was defined as an evil factor in Ross's life, rather than a groundbreaking moment in Carol's personal journey". This was written in Buzzfeed's article titled "Disturbing TV/Movie Moments That Did Not Age Well".

I am sorry but did people forget that Ross is a main character while Carol and Susan are not? How is it disturbing that the show is focusing more on the feelings of the main character than a side character? It's not like the show was overtly homophobic either, for it's time (1994-1995 which was almost 30 years ago!) it was groundbreaking. They even featured a gay wedding where Ross was walking this "evil factor in his life" down the aisle. And btw say what you will about Ross but he NEVER said that Carol is an evil factor in his life. He was just sad she left him because he loved her. That's a normal reaction to have. He never ever called her a homophobic slur or blamed her for being a lesbian. Yes there was that one problematic moment when he said she should just "forget that she's a lesbian and be with him" but that was a moment of desperation. He just ended an 8 year long relationship because his wife left him for another person! Should he not be sad? Imagine if she left him for another man. Would people say that he should not be sad and just congratulate her on this "groundbreaking moment in her journey"? Ffs these woke people are making no sense.

ah the 3 ship dynamics!

  1. your hand was the one i reached for all throughout the great war
  2. i dropped your hand while dancing
  3. i reached for you(r hand) but you were gone

Secret 4th one: you should think about the consequence of you touching my hand in a dark room

Everyone knows I am the biggest Dean hater there is (look up anti Dean and you get my blog lol) but I don't understand this narrative that other Dean haters sometimes push that Dean somehow groomed Rory into sleeping with him. So many times when people discuss the affair they refer to Dean as a grown married man and to Rory as a 19-year-old girl, which is misleading and ignores the fact that they are literally the same age. If you say it like that it sounds like Dean was 40 or something when he was also 19 or could even be only 18 since we don't know when his birthday is. I even saw someone compare the affair to Would've, Could've, Should've, a song which includes these lyrics: "If I was a paint did it splatter/on a promising grown man/if I was a child did it matter/if you got to wash your hands?" which is so weird because if Rory was a child then Dean was also a child, they're the same age! They went to the same high school and graduated in the same year!

Obviously, Dean lying to Rory about his marriage with Lindsay being completely over when it was yet not was bad. I am not denying that. Him coming to her house with the sole intention of seducing her when his wife was waiting for him at home was awful. But let's not make it into a worse thing than it actually was. Let's not pretend it was grooming or pedophilia. It's disrespectful to people that actually went through those things.
