@lotuskhan

Lotus, Cellist, 15, Bi, she/they. The following is simply a bunch of posts and photos that make me happy! I hope you enjoy!
Ten: Why are you two lying on the floor?
Winwin: We're having a mental breakdown party.
Xiaojun: Want to join us? Only requirement is you're mentally unstable.
Winwin: We just lay around and groan and ignore reality while eating chips.
Ten: ...
Ten: Make room for me.
Lucas: How do you manage to hold your breath for so long?
Xiaojun: You see, the trick is not caring whether you live or die.
Hendery: XIAOJUN NO-

everyday i'm grateful that xiaojun does not go to my college. i would have the BIGGEST crush on him and would creepily stare at him across campus (but of course never talk to him)

Winwin: You know, you've got to love knitting needles. I can make a scarf. I can make a hat. I can stab your eyes out. I can make mittens.
Kun: I'm sorry, what was that middle part?
Winwin: I can make a hat.

Daily Reminder for Musicians

You are worthy

You are good enough

You can do it

I believe in you

Your self worth is not determined by how you think you can play

At the end of the day it can never be about being perfect- music isn’t perfect, its human and it has flaws too and thats what makes it beautiful, the fact that a single amazingly flawed person or a group of amazingly flawed people can come together and make sounds and capture sentiments in a moment of time, with imperfections and all, in a way that can’t always be described in words because its just so magical and absolutely perfectly imperfectly human regardless of if you’re in the Chiacgo Symphony or your local middle school band

Lift your head up, because somehow in this enormous universe full of possibilities we could be expressing ourselves in any way and you’re making music and that’s truly a wonderful thing, and that makes you incredible and special even if you missed a note (or hundreds of thousesands of notes) somewhere in that journey
