This Wednesday May 24th, 2023 is the series finale of the Flash on the CW...And I don't think I'd ever feel ready to say goodbye.
I grew up watching The Flash it's what got me into the Arrowverse in the first place which led to me watching the Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow then Supergirl came along as did Black Lightning and Batwoman. The Arrow introduced me to John Constantine who quickly became one of my most favorite DC Characters. I've had a love for the Arrowverse for a long time relating to characters, having those funny moments, and going through the heartbreaking moments. Grant Gustin's performance as Barry Allen is one of the best pieces of acting I've ever seen. Yes sometimes the show writers are shitty, but Grant worked with what he had and he gave it his all. I've had the great honor of getting to meet Stephen Amell, John Barrowman, Colin Donnell, and Juliana Harkavy once before at a Convention. I hope one day, I'd get the opportunity to meet Grant or anyone from the Flash and just say the impact this show had on my life. It's been a wild and crazy ride these last 9 seasons and for the Arrowverse as a whole since it began. It's hard to see something you really love go, but the time has come and the final run is approaching.
I wish all the actors, actresses, and crew involved in this show the best on whatever journey they move onto next in their lives.

I love how my brain works when I read books cause I can picture things so clearly like a movie in my head. Like sometimes if something has a decent movie or show adaptation that I actually like I'll picture that actor/actress they play the character of when I'm reading (It was a problem for Ben Barnes and the Darkling I'm not getting into that 😅) Sometimes if I don't have that I may picture the character truly just based on the descriptions in the book or if I've seen a pretty good fan art.
I literally loved this chapter so freaking much. I could picture the skies in Velaris so clearly! I know I could literally finish this book tonight and I'd want to read the next one, but I haven't gotten it yet from the book store and I'll be like I HAVE TO GO when I literally can't head out there yet uuuugghhhh the curse of being a book worm and having to monitor my spending until I can return to work in June. 🤣
As someone who read the Shadow and Bone trilogy and it easily became one of my most favorite book series, seeing the line, "Like calls to like." In a Court of Mist and Fury sends me for a loop every time especially as someone who liked the Darkling's writing and found him to be a well written villain and from a stand point could understand his point of view.

How far are you into ACOMAF?! I just read the books for the first time in March and I became a little obsessed to be honest.
So I am currently on Chapter 30 on page 294. I honestly understand the obsession it's usually not hard for me to get into fantasy series as that is what most of my books are and the ones on my TBR list which is about as long as CVS receipt. 🤣 But I flew through the first book in the matter of two weeks, I could've read it in one week if I had the time.
I kept seeing it all over booktok and as a fantasy lover I've had friends try to convince me to read it for a while and I finally caved and I read A Court of Thorns and Rose and I flew through that first book so fast and I'm currently reading A Court of Mist and Fury now.
