I made the draft for this comic about two years ago, I think? I don’t know why I never managed to draw those damn two pages but I finally did it now lsldfd __
It was an honor and a pleasure to contribute to the @supercorpzine ! To the amazing team responsible for the zine, thank you so much for always being so attentive and professional!

Hello sango........good evening.......i humbly ask that you draw Lena in just the cape
That moment when a fan edit is better than the entire show.
Who do you think is going to make the first move in s6? Lena or Kara?
(Credits go to gmiddlemass3012 on tiktok!!!)
Might as well post here since I’m showing @evanezco what I have so far of the Closer SC MV 😂
Since I also have no Christmas offering to the SC fandom, it’s also my Christmas gift for the fandom if you accept a half-way done gift that is 😂😂😂
Kara getting caught staring at Lena too many times and Lena doesn't think much about it until it hits her in the face. Could you write about it 👀
“You’re doing it again,” Lena says, sighing after the seventh time she catches Kara, trying and failing to be subtle, gawking at her from where she’s seated on the opposite end of the couch. They’re supposed to be watching TV, but Kara is choosing to watch Lena laugh at the rom-com show playing instead.
“Doing what?” Kara asks, focus snapping back to the screen the second she’s called out.
“Just... staring, darling.”
Scoffing, Kara says, “I don’t do that.”
“I’ve seen the way you look at me when you think I won’t notice,” Lena admits, voice soft. It’s been happening for years, at least almost half as long as Lena has known Kara. She acts as if she’s oblivious most of the time, finding it easier than the moments when she’ll meet Kara’s eyes and Kara will flush pink and face away like she’s just looking around the room and their eye contact was entirely coincidence.
Kara is cute when she’s embarrassed. It’s delightful.
Lena’s never said anything before, but she does notice. And she wants to know why.
Adjusting her glasses, Kara’s tone is a heavy blend of disbelief and fear when she says, “Yeah? What way?”
It’s hard to name the exact look. It’s a quiet awe, a kind of fascination, like Kara can’t believe that Lena really exists or is actually there with her, and the corners of her lips are curved up in the softest grin and Lena, when she catches it, thinks that it’s the happiest Kara’s ever looked. Lena’s only seen the smile in those short moments when she faces Kara in the middle of her not-so-subtle staring and Kara takes a few seconds too long to react, Lena trying to memorize and categorize the expression that inevitably vanishes once Kara realizes she’s not as subtle as she thought.
There’s always something so tender about the way she looks at Lena, even if Lena isn’t supposed to know. It’s like the way her sister looks at her girlfriend. The way Clark looks at Lois.
The way Kara looks at Lena.
Lena expects a change of topic. She expects fumbling and jokes from Kara. She expects Kara to tell anyone who will listen for two days just how brilliant and sweet Lena can be. She expects, at the very least, unrelenting denial.
Instead, she’s greeted with silence while Kara suddenly finds her hands on her lap so interesting she can’t bear to look away.
It’s quiet quiet quiet, until:
“So, you noticed?” There’s something so self-deprecating about Kara’s confession that Lena can’t understand. She can’t think of a reason for Kara’s fleeting looks to be so bad.
“Why?” Lena asks simply.
Kara may have spent years sneaking glances but, now, she won’t even look at Lena.
“I’m in love with you,” Kara admits so quietly, so nervously, Lena almost doesn’t hear her over the commercial break, “and I don’t want to scare you away with my feelings.”
The world stills around them in silence, Kara’s words hanging in the air like a hand reaching out hesitantly.
Lena frowns. Scare her away?
Her mouth opens, then closes without any words coming out of it—she doesn’t know what to say, because no words seem to be able to do justice to what she’s feeling. She opens it again, aware she needs to react in some way.
It should’ve been more obvious, Lena thinks, but the hushed doubt in the back of her mind, telling her it’s impossible even as Kara herself says otherwise makes it hard for Lena to believe that Kara would ever love her back.
The silence continues, Kara fidgeting nervously as she waits for a reaction and Lena stiff while she processes the information.
Eventually, Lena moves her hand across the pillow that separates her from Kara, catching Kara’s wrist. She pulls it towards her softly, so it rests between them, Kara finally looking at her out of confusion.
Slipping her hand beneath Kara’s and turning her palm up so she can twine their fingers together, Lena promises, “You could never scare me away.”
A beautiful ending would be if Kara asked Lena to experiment with kryptonite to find a way to strip her of her powers (shows full trust) and Lena ends up creating blue kryptonite (see Smallville Clark in crisis) and when she finally cracks it, she gives it to Kara in the form of a stone in an engagement ring. It ends with a monologue from Kara as we watch a montage of them growing old together with their family and friends, everybody super happy.
At first I thought I wouldn’t like the idea of Kara “giving up” her powers and passion for helping people and her destiny of saving the world. Then I realized, is it even giving anything up when she’s already achieved that? She has saved the world. Repeatedly. She fulfilled her chosen destiny. And she’s self-sacrificed endlessly to do so along the way. And now it’s time for her to be happy. Because she lives in a universe now where there’s so many heroes that can take over for her, including her own protege Dreamer, her sister as a vigilante, Flash, Batwoman, Superman, etc. And recently in S4, she realized she can still help people and save the world via her journalism and normal, day-to-day life that she’s built. Hell, in S1 even we saw her be a hero after losing her powers, and show herself and the world that anybody can be a hero, even without special abilities. So it fits fully with the theme of the show.
Also, thanks in large part to her actions, she no longer has to live in fear and secrecy as an alien. Aliens are “out”. So she can be “out” too (in more ways than one, ahem) and live a normal life with the woman she loves. Which tracks with the implication that in the future, people know who she is and name their kids after her.
And yes, it would be quite the gesture of trust to have Lena make her something like that.
So the idea of her deciding to “just be Kara” and spending the rest of her life with her soulmate (Clark & Lois on Smallville style) and sister and friends on Earth, being a successful journalist (maybe even CEO of CatCo in the end, while Lena retakes L-Corp again) and being out as an alien and living as her true self Kara Zor-El Danvers (but with the ability to whip off the device and still be powered if ever needed in a pinch) is totally something I’d be down with in the end, and fully track with the show’s themes, with Kara’s evolution and character arc. She’ll have come full circle. She came to Earth to save Clark, shifted to become its hero when he didn’t need her, saved the universe, and now can have the love and soulmate and partner and happy life she’s always hoped for but never thought she could have (per her convo with Eliza in S3). The life she fully deserves. The life she’s more than earned. With Lena.
Supercorp Endgame, baby.
PS/ETA: Kara “giving up” her powers to live a happy life with Lena also tracks with why she wouldn’t be in S&L or future crossovers or appearances. It can simply be said that they won’t want to bother her or call her unless absolutely necessary, ya know? They’ll simply handle things themselves. The show doesn’t need to kill Kara in the end nor send her off to the future with a problematic ex and away from her family and friends and the life she worked hard for and woman she obviously loves, just to explain her absence. This is a much better, more organic, heartfelt and satisfying way to wrap up her story.
Lena and Kara giving each other soft little kisses at night before bed and just lovingly stroking each other’s faces 🥺

Human Shield - A SuperCorp fic
I don’t always have time to make complete comics. I work. A LOT. But this was a really interesting idea I wanted to explore. And @luthoring encouraged me, sooooo… here you go.
Beyond the cut is the result, expanding on this comic. Written entirely from Lena’s perspective.
Fair warning: there is violence, injury, and angst.
