I want to play a game where you’re a little fox chemist witch with a big doofy hat and you go on an adventure with your fox witch mom.

And (this is important) she doesn’t fucking die because the writers can’t figure out how to make an emotional moment without killing your video game mom off.

No she’s permanent.

You go on a foxventure with your foxmom.

And you do team attacks.

Like you throw a potion to her and she pours it into a bomb and throws it back to you and you chuck it at a monster.

And you’re both dummies too.

And you can get a job at the inn to sweep up and you just run around smacking dust bunnies with brooms while the big innkeeper wolf is like “KILL ‘EM! KILL ALL ‘EM DUST BUNNIES!” and the dust bunnies are throwing dust bombs at you.

And the save points are goat statues because goats in this universe are time wizards and they have the power to save your game and also turn into statues to sleep.

The ultimate objective is to save your foxdad, he got kidnapped by a lizard or something.

not to be an old cranky leftist but going forward i think those of us who live in the us need to remember a protest is not a group powerwalk to register polite disapproval with those in power

a protest is an implied threat. a protest says there are a lot of us, and we do not like what you’re doing. we are giving you a chance to course correct before we take things to the next level.

if there’s no shared commitment to the potential of moving to that next level: a protest is useless and essentially just public performance art.

So many people wouldn’t have asthma in the first place if it wasn’t for these corporations…Shifting blame from actual culprits to people with asthma (and people who can’t help but use plastic straws at that) is peak capitalism.

The unmitigated GAUL of TIME magazine to produce this is unbelievable.

So, there's apparently research coming out now about microplastics being found in people's bloodstreams and the possible negative effects of that and I feel the need to get out ahead of the wave of corporate sponsored "be sure to recycle your bottles!" or "ban glitter!" campaigns and remind everyone: It's fishing nets. It's fishing nets. It is overwhelming fishing nets It always has been fishing nets. Unless regulations are changed, it will continue to be fishing nets. The plastic in the ocean in largely discarded nets from industrial fishing. The microplastics are the result of these nets breaking down. The "trash islands" are also, you guessed it. Mostly fishing nets and other discarded fishing industry equipment. Do not allow them to continue to twist the story. Do not come after disabled people who require single use plastics. Do not come after people using glitter in art projects and makeup. These things make up a negligible amount of the issue compared to corporate waste, specifically in the fishing industry. Do not let them shift the blame to the individual so they can continue to destroy the planet and our bodies without regulation.
