I never see anyone actually getting any significant donations on tumblr and to be honest, tumblr is the worst place to ask for assistance. reblogging this again to clarify to anyone who might have this saved for a rainy day; some of these links no longer work properly, and almost all of these require you to be an active reddit user for at least a month and up to six to receive any sort of direct financial support. this is all but useless to anyone in financial trouble who doesn’t already use reddit regularly, and won’t be any help if you need assistance on short notice. additionally, r/legaladvice is apparently run by cops who will attempt to keep you ignorant about your rights, so turn to other subreddits that provide legal help if you need it.
