PRETYMUCH Explains Everything Episode 2

Pretty Much Preference #1: Moving in

Austin: I couldn’t wait until I was 18 to finally be on my own. Little did I know that was harder than I ever thought it would be. I struggled but I was determined to make it on my own. With the new band, my boyfriend Austin was always gone or at the studio. I was beyond proud of him but sometimes I wished we would have more time together. He finally invited me to the studio so I could see him work, I loved to watch him singing. I made my way to the studio, I had to wait until someone opened the door. “Hey” he smiled as he opened the door. “Finally,” I said as I hugged him. “I’ve missed you” he wrapped his arms around me pulling me to his chest. “Not as much as I’ve missed you” I mumbled against his chest. “Come on they are waiting for me” he grabbed my hand leading the way. We made it into the room where everyone was at, of course, I hugged everyone. I sat down next to Austin as he put his arm around my shoulder. I leaned against his chest as Nick was in the booth. He kissed my forehead as I started to play with his hand. It was moments like this that I missed the most when he was away. “There was something I wanted to ask,” he said. “Sure what is it?” I responded. “Well we are getting a group house” he started off. “Oh that’s cool, you will love it” I nodded. “I want you to move in, the guys already said it was ok,” he said. “Wait, what?” I sat up so I could look at him. “I want to know if you would move in with us,” he said. “I would love that” I smiled slightly. “Good, it just means more time together,” he said. “That’s always a good thing,” I said. “So will you?” he questioned again. “Yea I would” I nodded. “Good” he kissed me softly. “When?” I questioned as I pulled back from his kiss. “In about two weeks” He nodded. “Alright, so I have time to pack,” I said. “SHE SAID YES!” He yelled out to the whole studio. Everyone started to cheer and hug me, I was beyond excited to be moving in. I moved in with them about a month after they got the house. I wanted them to be settled in before I moved in, it was something that I would have to get used to.

Nick: I was always the type of girl that never wanted to be alone. I didn’t always have to be in a relationship but I just wanted someone around. I meet Nick at a bar and we just hit it off. It was hard to explain because I never felt this way before. We just completed each other, like puzzle pieces. “What are you doing today?” he asked into the phone. “I’m not sure because I have today off, you want to come over?” I asked. “Sure, I’ll be over soon,” he said. “Alright see you soon babe” I smiled. “Alright bye,” he hung up. I slipped on a pair of jeans before making my way downstairs. I sat on the couch as I waited for him to come over. I saw him pull up so I opened the door as he got out of the car. “Hey,” I said as I leaned against the door frame. “Hey” he smiled as he walked up the stairs. “I missed you” I hugged him. “I always miss you” He pulled me close to him. “Come in,” I said. “Let’s go get something to eat first” he grabbed my hand. “Sure” I grabbed my phone before walking with him. We went down to our favorite local cafe, I went to get our seats as he ordered. I leaned back in the seat as I waited for him to come to the table. He sat down next to me as he placed our drinks down on the table. I grabbed mine and took a sip as I looked at him. “What?” he asked. “Nothing, thank you” I smiled. “For?” He looked at me. “For everything” I nodded. “I love you” he leaned over kissing me softly. “I love you” I smiled against his lips. “Can I asked you something?” he said as he rested his forehead against mine. “Yeah” I pulled away slightly. “I was going to look for new apartments tomorrow because my lease is almost up and I wanted something new,” he said. “So you want me to help?” I asked. “Yea” He took a sip of his drink. We finished our little date and went back to my apartment. We just spent the rest of the night cuddling up and talking. In the morning I went with him to look at apartments, I wasn’t sure what he was looking for. The first two apartments were ok but I didn’t fall in love with them but the last one was amazing. “I love this one,” I said. “Do you?” He brushed his thumb over my hand. “Yea this is perfect for you,” I said. “For us?” he asked. “Us?” I looked at him. “Yea, move in with me. Let’s make this official” he said. “Really?” I asked. “Yes, this is our apartment,” He said. “I would love too” I hugged him to me. “Good, then let’s sign this lease,” he said as he held me close. “Alright,” I smiled. We signed the lease and it was officially ours. I was always at his place or he was always at mine so why not move in together. Plus I hated being alone so it was for the best.

Edwin: I was glad that this was our final year of school. It wasn’t that I hated school it was just the early mornings. Late evenings of studying, never feeling good enough. Always having something to do, I just wanted to relax with nothing to do. I knew Edwin felt the same way, but we would go to college in the spring. We had to get through our last few months of high school. I slammed my locker as I heard the bell ring, I knew I was late so why rush? “Hey” I heard Edwin. “Hey” I turned to face him. “Didn’t wake up well this morning?” he placed his arm around my shoulder. “You know me” I sighed as I walked with him. “It happens to the best of us” he chuckled slightly. “Yea” I rolled my eyes playfully. “But you’re not rushing to your class,” he said. “I’m already late so why rush?” I said as I grabbed his hand. “True,” he said. “Why aren’t you in class?” I questioned. “Because I wanted to see you” he admitted. “Aw, you’re sweet” I smiled as I looked at him. “Well you are my baby girl,” he said. “I love you,” I said. “I love you more” he kissed my cheek. “Not possible,” I said. “It is” he smirked. “Whatever you always say that” I stopped walking. “Because its true” he placed his hands on my hips. I wrapped my arms around his neck, leaning up slightly kissing him softly. I felt him lift me up as he kept the kiss between us. “GET TO CLASS” I heard a teacher yell. I rolled my eyes as he put me down on the ground. I finally made it to my class as he made it to his. We meet up again at lunch and at the end of the day. “Meet at my place?” he asked as we walked out of school. “Sounds good, food?” I asked. “What you want?” he asked. “I don’t care I just know I’m starving,” I said. “Alright, ill pick up something” he nodded. “Alright see you soon,” I said as I kissed his cheek. I got into my car as he got into his, I pulled off before him. I pulled into the driveway, his mom allowed me inside as we waited for him. I went upstairs to his room and laid on his bed. He finally came in with food, he sat down next to me giving me my food. We both sat on the floor and ate our food, things were quiet. After we ate we did our homework and then we just hung out with each other. Graduation was two weeks away and we both couldn’t wait. “So what are you doing after graduation?” he asked. “I’m not sure yet, just want to relax for a few weeks before deciding,” I said. “Yea same,” he said. “Are we going to make it?” I asked. “Of course” he leaned over kissing me softly. “Good” I smiled against his lips. “I have something for you” he got up going to his closet. He came back and handed me a key before sitting down next to me. “What is this?” I looked at him. “My parents are letting me move into the beach house since its close to our school we are going to,” he said. “That’s cool” I smiled as I gave him the key. “No this one is yours, I want you to move in with me,” he said. “Really?” I asked. “Yes, you are my forever,” he said. “My forever” I kissed his lips softly. “So?” He asked. “Yes, I will” I nodded as I looked at the key. We kinda moved in a few days before graduation, I couldn’t wait to be with him all the time. It was hard at first but once we knew basically everything about each other it got easier.

Brandon: It was kind of hard having an older boyfriend. Brandon graduated a year before me and was already in college. It seemed like we could only see each other on the weekend. Sometimes that wasn’t even possible, I missed being in the same school with him. I knew there were only a few more months before I was finished with school. He would be out of school for the summer so we had all summer to be together. Plus we would be going to the same college in the fall, but with different majors. It seemed like the day was dragging by as if it would never end. The final bell rung and I were out the door. I stopped by my locker to switch books and get the ones I needed. I walked to the back of the school with my best friend so we could get on the bus. I looked down at my phone and saw a message from Brandon. “Sorry girl, I have a ride,” I said. “Have fun?” she said as I started to walk the other way. I finally made it to where he was, he was leaning against his car as he waited. “Hey” I smiled as I rushed over to him. “Hey, you” he pulled me close to him. “I missed you,” I said. He placed his hand against my chin gently tilting it up. Placing his lips against mine softly kissing me. I leaned up on my tippy toes as I kept the kiss between us. “Thank you,” I said as I pulled away slightly. “Its Friday and I wanted to see my girl,” he said. “I always want to see you” I bite my lip as I looked up at him. “I know, I have dinner plans,” he said. “Sounds good, can I go and change?” I questioned. “Yea you can” he nodded. We both got into the car, he drove me back to my parent’s house. “Are you waiting here or?” I asked. “I’ll come and pick you up in about an hour,” he said. “Alright” I kissed his cheek before getting out of the car. I got into the house and ran upstairs, I didn’t know what to wear. I also knew when he said dinner plans that it was probably fancy. I pulled out my little black dress with some gold jewelry. I was fixing my hair when I heard him blow his horn. I chuckled to myself as I finished up before heading out. I got into the car, he pulled me to him kissing me softly. “I love you,” I said as I wiped the lipstick from his lips. “I love you” he smiled. He pulled out of my driveway and he took us to our favorite restaurant. He got out and opened the car door for me, reaching for my hand. I grabbed his hand as I got out of the car. They seated us right away and he sat next to me, placing his arm around me. “I love it when you wear that dress” he whispered in my ear. “You like it better when its off” I looked at him. “True” he smirked. “We only come here for special occasions,” I said. “Yea and tonight is special,” he said. “Oh?” I looked at him. “Yea its been 4 years since we have been dating” he looked at me. “No that is in May” I looked at him confused. “Ok today is the day 4 years ago when I saw you, and you stole my heart,” he said. “Aw,” I smiled. “Plus I wanted to ask you something,” he said. Before he could ask me we ordered our food and our drinks. He grabbed my hand as he turned facing me, I played with his fingers as I looked at him. “What is it?” I asked. “I’m tired of this game we are playing” he started off. “Game?” I looked at him worried. “I love you and I want to spend more time with you,” he said. “And I want the same Brandon” I admitted. “Move in with me,” he said. “What?” I looked at him. “Move in with me, I want to wake up beside you. I want to hold you when we fall asleep. I want you to be there when I get home” he said. “You do?” I asked. “Of course I do, I can’t imagine you not being in my life,” he said. “I would love to wake up to you,” I said. “That’s a yes?” He asked. “Yes,” I smiled as I saw him smile grow.  He pulled me close to him, I wrapped my arms around him. I knew this day would come but not as soon as it did. We searched for apartments and finally found one, our next chapter was about to start.

Zion: I was always on the go, from college to the gym to my job. I was always busy but I wouldn’t have it any other way, Zion always managed to keep up. Our relationship was fun and easy going, it was easy being with your best friend. I made my way behind the bar, putting my apron on. I clocked in and started my shift right away, I saw Zion come in and sit at the bar. “Hello, how may I help you?” I asked as I walked over to him. “I would like a glass of water and you” he smirked. “Oh me?” I bite my lip as I grabbed a glass. “Always you,” he said. “Here you go” I put the glass of water in front of him. “What about the other thing?” He asked. I leaned over the bar grabbing his shirt, kissing him softly but intensely. “There’s my girl” he smirked against my lips. “always yours” I smiled as I pulled away. “How long is tonight’s shift?” he asked. “Until midnight,” I said. “You crashing at mine tonight?” he asked. “If you will have me,” I said as I started getting another order ready. “Of course, you don’t even have to ask that,” he said. “Thanks,” I said as I walked away giving the other order to the table. We would talk when I was at the bar but mainly he was there to watch the game. He always liked to keep an eye on me while I was working too. Plus I just liked having him around, because I could kiss him whenever I wanted. “Wing?” I asked as I came back to the bar. “You know it,” he said as he watched the tv screen. I rolled my eyes playfully and got his wings, bringing them back out to him. My shift was coming to an end and I must admit that I was ready to get off my feet. “Almost time, you got this,” he said. “Thanks, Zion but I’m beat” I sighed. “I know but you got this” he reassured me. I finally clocked out and sat down next to Zion, he could tell I was exhausted. He picked me up from the stool and took me to his car. I laid the seat back as I started to relax, he took us back to his apartment. He picked me up from my seat as I had fallen asleep. He took me up to his bed, slipping my shoes off as well as my jeans before laying me in bed. He got into the bed with me cuddling me close to him as he drifted off to sleep. I snuggled close to him as I felt the cold air creep in. The sun started to peek through the window, I hid my face into his neck. “Good morning” he chuckled. “Morning” I groaned. “Why don’t you just move in?” he whispered. “You want me to?” I asked. “Of course I do, I love waking up to you,” he said. “Well we are basically already living together, I stay here all the time” I admitted. “Ok then just move your stuff in and make it official,” he said. “I will because I love waking up in your arms” I snuggled closer to him. “Good” he kissed my forehead. He was right because I was always at his place so why did I need my own apartment?
