DUNGEONS & DRAGONS: HONOR AMONG THIEVES 2023, dir. Jonathan Goldstein & John Francis Daley
Most directors in MCU with Feige's approval: Oh we're not sharing the full script with our crew (x), sometimes the actors won't know who they're saying their lines to (x), we don't tell them what happens to their characters (x)...
James Gunn (x): "By the time of #GotGVol3 my script included all the songs in the movie, but also a dictionary & breakdown of the humanimal language, maps, action designs & simple character designs. The screenplay is the blueprint of the movie & anything I can include to help my crew understand the story & support the foundation, I’ll include."
No wonder Vol 3 is doing great in theatres and the story is so damn good... but sure, keep taking the scripts from your actors, that doesn't impact the movies at all 🤦♀️
I think these examples are bad but this is definitely what went wrong for Doctor Strange 2 and Ant-Man 3.

I miss the days when, no matter how slow your internet was, if you paused any video and let it buffer long enough, you could watch it uninterrupted
