No but see the thing is that Hermione legitimately LOVES proving her point to the ignorant masses and showing her work so I can very easily see someone, anyone, asking her ‘Why Ron?’ and maybe it’s a coworker or a friend genuinely asking like ‘you could have anyone, why him?’ or even one of Ron’s brother’s jokingly asking (or some douchebag legitimately asking) ‘why have him when you could have me?’ and Hermione would immediately whip out the 200 slide presentation filled to the brim with first hand accounts and character references and little candid pictures of Ron when he’s doing little things like cooking or sleeping or playing with the kids and nobody can stop her until she’s gone through every single one in excruciating detail.

Like, the presentation dedicates at least 5 slides solely to the face of intense concentration Ron makes when he’s playing chess and exactly how captivating Hermione finds it.
