Imagine playing them in a video game :O
Kiki’s Delivery Service is one of those movies that I feel any aspiring artist should see. The struggle of Kiki in this movie is one that ANYONE who wants to further themselves goes through, that transition from taking what you love to do to something that you make a living off of.
As artists we have all been in the place where Kiki is. That place where we can’t draw anything right, can’t paint anything right, can’t sculpt anything right, that place where everything comes out wrong over and over and we begin to question if we’re actually good enough for the talents and skills that used to come to us like second nature when we were just using them for fun. That place where we want to give up because we suddenly can’t ‘fly’ like we want to, because everything seems too difficult to do that.
But that doesn’t mean it isn’t there, just because it isn’t working right then and there when you want it to be. If you can always fly, then it wouldn’t make those times when you did as special. It isn’t necessarily easy to grow up, nor is it necessarily easy to live with the artistic struggle of losing inspiration. But you can’t just throw up your hands and say ‘No, I can’t do it anymore’ because you’ll NEVER fly if you do that.
You gotta wobble before you stand.
Lo so, siete a bocca aperta. L’opera è di Darian Rodriguez Mederos, classe 1992, artista cubano di cui sentiremo parlare ancora.

Omg I am in LOVE with this painting and let me tell you why.
Think about how a painting would be shipped in the 90s. To make sure it was kept safe and the frame wasn’t damaged in shipping, it was probably… BUBBLE WRAPPED!
When first looking, you probably think this is just a painting that’s been bubbled wrapped for transport, but PSYCHE! it’s the painting itself! Each bubble was meticulously painted to make it appear like a portrait of a woman bubble wrapped. It takes the average and everyday and elevates it, forcing the viewer to see the beauty in the mundane.
What is Your Personal Tarot Year Card? ♥
Since the Tarot Major Arcana are numbered, you can use the same technique you would use in numerology to find your Personal Tarot Year! This card can be read as a lesson, general theme or major event for the coming year.
Add the digits of your birth month and day and reduce it to a single digit.
Example: November 3 → 11 + 3 = 14 → 1 + 4 = 5
Add the digits of the current year to reduce to a single digit.
2020 → 2 + 0 + 2 + 0 = 4
Add the two resulting numbers together, but do not reduce the sum to a single digital if it’s 22 or below. (Both 0 and 22 correspond to The Fool card.)
5 + 4 = 9
9 in the Major Arcana corresponds with The Hermit. This card holds the lesson for the year in question for the example birthdate.
How to Interpret your card:
You can do this two different ways:
Your personal tarot year card can be relevant from birthday to birthday, from November 3, 2020 to November 3, 2021.
You can also read it for the entire year of 2020. Try both to see which is more relevant for you. You might also find that one year’s lesson or theme gradually fades into the next.
Personal Year Card Reading:
You can take out the tarot year card from your deck and pull some clarification cards to help get more insight.
For example, I got the Death card for my personal year card. Of course, this doesn’t literally mean death, but big changes and transformations… So I singled out this card from my deck and drew a couple clarification cards. I pulled the 8 of Pentacles and Ace of Pentacles, which means changes in work and career. ♡♡♡ :D

Nintendo has finally blessed us with the perfect Pokemon. Watch as my team consists of 6 fluffy babies. Wooloo is now up for order on my Etsy. I am almost out of the colour I used for the face so only 3 will be available for the time being. I will make other facial expressions in the future, probably of its sleepy face and its >w< face. The embroidery files were designed, and sold by FeatherStitchedCrafts and FleaCircusDesigns.
Can we talk about how Ash’s chikorita’s first thought when released from it’s pokeball was to immediately turn around, rub against his leg, and look up at him as if to say “I love you so much. Hi there!”
Then Ash points at the opponent’s girafarig and immediately goes to face the foe. Yes, Ash looks a little annoyed, but he just points, doesn’t yell, just points.
This is why I love Pokémon so much. They aren’t just for battling, they are friends, companions. They love their trainers, at least those trainers that treat their Pokémon well. I would love to love in that world, where you make all these friends who will fight for you, knowing that they make you proud and safe.
so are we not going to talk about girafarig’s other head just weirdly turning its head towards you and showing off its teeth, signaling it absolutely wants to kill you?
