I didn’t miss that social cue I just thought it was stupid
the bravery of a girl who has to decide what is for dinner and then cook it and then wash dishes every day forever and ever.
That's called being an adult
no it’s called being the bravest girl on planet earth
something i've noticed. people seem to think the most nature-y nature is forests. so forests are always prioritized for conservation, and planting trees is synonymous with ecological activism. my state was largely prairies and wetlands before colonization. those ecosystems are important too. trees aren't the end-all be-all of environmentalism. plant native grasses. protect your wetlands.
saw trap voice hello, jensen ackles. your spn prequel is at risk of cancellation due to low viewership. you know the only way to save the show is to renege on 12 years of homophobia and make destiel canon for the third time. if you refuse, the show will be cancelled and you’ll have to say goodbye to your best friend dean winchester forever. which will you choose, jensen: dean winchester alive but bisexual, or dean winchester straight but dead? misha collins will tweet about cas being a top every hour on the hour until you make your decision
"ooooh nooooo but a rail strike around the holidays could cripple the economy" damn sounds like their labor is really really important and you should give them what they fucking want
Man I hate when these purity kids try to take down ao3 because ao3 is about sharing and choices. You get to CHOOSE what you are comfortable with! A true safe place is about informed choices, not guidance designed to keep you ignorant.
I am very much against any philosophy whose reasoning is “sometimes people make bad choices” and the solution is “so we should take their choices away.”
Steve Harringron in season 1 of Stranger Things is the most character. He did some bad stuff and immediately went "Aw, beans. That wasn't cool. I better go apologize" at which point The Plot he'd been blissfully unaware of for the entire show immediately tried to eat him.
Steve: "Hey Nancy I wanted to apologize for--"
Nancy, cocking a gun: "Wall's haunted."
@aethersea
YOU”RE INCREDIBLY CORRECT
#stranger things#stranger things meta#I mean I'd say he's not really The Most Character until he levels up to tired mom of six#but it starts in s1 by being the best possible version if#'exactly what he's stereotypically supposed to be'#and 'the exact opposite of what he's stereotypically supposed to be'#somehow at the same time#he's an asshole jock who only cares about the superficial he's a doting love interest who changes out of love#he'll turn on his girlfriend and hurt her without ever giving her a chance because he instantly assumes the worst#he'll take stock of his actions and do what he can to atone and apologize because he decides he wants to be a better person#he'll start fights he can't finish he'll run from the cops he'll ditch his asshole friends he'll try to fix his mistakes#and then the whole genre shifts on him and he steps up to BAT he whacks a monster in the FACE#screaming the whole time
Me, reblogging from anyone I don't follow: I'm introducing diversity into the gene pool. This will make my mutuals' dashes stronger and healthier.
Me reblogging old posts: I am reintroducing historical species into the gene pool to hybridize with the dashboard equivalent of pugs, making them stronger and healthier.
I've had enough of society being catered to morning people.. it's time for everything to be pushed back like two hours
Or you could get off your ass and rise with the sun. You'll feel better if you fix your circadian rhythm and eat food that's actually good for you
Anyway, you fucking weirdo, they did studies that concluded that the most efficient work day is 10am to 4pm, no longer than 6 hours, and people will be most productive if a work week is between 26 and 32 hours.
But you do you, ig.
and for ADHD folks (and astronomers, and other people whose rhythm isn't driven by the sun), sometimes the best working hours don't start until after noon
A circadian rhythm that's different than that rewarded by modern capitalist society isn't broken and trying to adjust to one that's not yours can be harmful.
it's too bad smoking is expensive and bad for you and everyone around you because we will never be able to replace the specific intimacy of lighting someone else's cigarette for them
cute thing by car seat headrest
controversial post maybe but i think if you don't need a psychiatric evaluation to get breast implants then you shouldn't need one to get top surgery
I’m not trying to turn your kids trans; that’s stupid. I’m trying to turn them into socialists.
you're laughing. so many people are going to find out that the queen died via that fucking supernatural meme and you're laughing.
today my dad wore a tie-dye shirt i made for him to the hospital where he works. apparently at one point he walked into the break room after seeing a patient and everyone there kinda… just started staring at him. so he got confused and was like “what is it??” and one of his coworkers asked “…is that blood?” and then my dad finally looked down and realized the collar of his shirt was visible though the scrubs, so everyone could see this vivid red splatter right near his neck. with no context whatsoever. in a hospital.
anyways while he was just telling me this story i was mentally here
This reads like a post with 10k notes
with you help it can be
Incredibly blessed to have lived through both the Destiel-Putin-Election and the Reigen-Sans-Queen-Incident
