This is so sad :(. Man or woman if you’re in a domestic violence situation try to get yourself out and seek justice for yourself. I really don’t get why it’s seen unmanly to report when these things happen to men.

So I'll cut to the chase on this since a lot of people are dying, drowning, and screaming for help in Cagayan and Isabela, Philippines. A lot of them have also been stranded and are standing on their rooftops as we speak.

I'm here to post a collection of donation drives that I've gathered online. If we can't help them physically, we can at least make sure they have monetary assistance, food and clothing once they're evacuated.

For context:

The Philippines has been hit by three consecutive typhoons this month alone: Quinta, Rolly (Goni internationally) and Ulysses. It's been hitting nearly the same areas, which has made them even more vulnerable now that they're still recovering from the previous typhoons. Our mountain ranges couldn't shield us from this due to heavy quarrying and deforestation.

That said, these aren't the only places in need of assistance. But these are the places in urgent need of help. And we're trying to do as best as we can with what little we have.

I'll update this post from time to time for full transparency.

It’s not just allergic reactions. That’s a severe misunderstanding of what disinfectants do and a refusal to acknowledge how serious this is and WHY people are freaking out.

No, they’re not literally being gassed in the grandiose (gore-iose?) way you’d think of - being shoved into an iron chamber like animals that then is filled with gas that melts their skin… But they are still being forced to into small areas with harmful fumes and surfaces covered in chemicals that are made to eat living matter.

If you had to be in a room for days and weeks with bleach or peroxide all over everything, you don’t need to be allergic to start having severe reactions. Cleaning chemicals say to use protective gear and ventilate the area for a REASON.

This is really not okay. It wasn’t okay before, and now it’s worse than it was.

I work as a university custodian. This is the chemical we’re using to sanitize surfaces we’ve cleaned due to coronavirus. We’re not supposed to spray it directly on any surfaces. We spray it onto a cloth and then wipe surfaces with it. It’s supposed to dry before people come into contact with those surfaces. Once it dries on water fountains it’s rinsed off (I don’t know if it actually does anything to rinse it off when it’s already dried but that’s the procedure - we have to let it dry to make sure it’s had enough time to kill virus particles). That’s in university buildings with extra ventilation that are sanitized twice a day. This is horrifying.

it means that abortion is now only valid in cases of rape or incest.

For example, right now women will have to give birth to children with  anencephaly. Do you know how it is with anencephaly?

“Anencephaly is a fatal condition. Infants with anencephaly are stillborn in about 75 percent of cases. Newborns who survive die within several hours, days, or weeks.”

Polish women don’t want to run away from their responsibility, they just don’t want to carry a child just to watch said child die in pain, while they can’t help them.

So, let’s give some context to those who are not aware of what John Boyega has gone through since being cast in Star Wars so many years ago.

John Boyega has endured nothing but constant attacks for years and has gotten almost next to no support from the online community in the way that he should.

The man has fought against racism, fought for his own place in the film industry, and even started his own production company to give people who never had a shot a chance.

If there is one thing John Boyega is, he is a hero. And if he is anything else, then he’s a role model.
