This is a summary of college only using two pictures; expensive as hell.
That’s my Sociology “book”. In fact what it is is a piece of paper with codes written on it to allow me to access an electronic version of a book. I was told by my professor that I could not buy any other paperback version, or use another code, so I was left with no option other than buying a piece of paper for over $200. Best part about all this is my professor wrote the books; there’s something hilariously sadistic about that. So I pretty much doled out $200 for a current edition of an online textbook that is no different than an older, paperback edition of the same book for $5; yeah, I checked. My mistake for listening to my professor.
This is why we download.
Alternatives to buying overpriced textbooks
Spreading this shit like nutella because goddamn textbooks are so expensive.
not necessarily art related but as someone who couldn’t afford their textbooks this semester this is a godsend
REBLOGGING because after a little digging, I found my $200 textbook for free in PDF form.
friendly reminder that this exists since I know we’re all going back to college soon
Idk if any college students follow me, but uh here’s this
chicken dipped in tea powder 👅
help??? hello????
it was in chicago. my band was on tour. we spent an hour on the bus telling stories that involved fish. attempts to tell stories not involving fish were shot down immediately.
an hour.
sometimes a band is 100 kids in a field with no recollection of who the person is 12 dots down from them.
sometimes a band is 40 kids crammed into a drama room, someone brought coke in and is drinking it in rehearsal, someone brought cheetos and shared them before rehearsal, most kids left their instrument there for the whole week, and everyone just vibes because they're still one of the top bands in the state despite numbers tanking from last year.

The conversation was so cursed good lord.
Clothing The Gap is a Victorian Aboriginal owned and led social enterprise. We are a fresh and dynamic fashion label managed by health professionals that celebrates Aboriginal people and culture.
Clothing The Gap is a play on the words “Closing the Gap”, which is an Australian Government health initiative to help close the life expectancy gap between Aboriginal people and non-Indigenous Australians.
We are self-determining our futures and you can help us ‘clothe the gap’.
Clothing The Gap unites non-Indigenous and Aboriginal people through fashion and causes, one of which is to help Close the Gap.
How are we doing this? 100% of profits actively support Aboriginal health promotion and education programs throughout Victoria. We are currently backing Spark Health Australia.
We're going back to band rehearsals!! Starting off with sectionals, until the restrictions allow for all 51 of us back in the drama room/band room. I'm excited!!
THEATRE KIDS! I NEED YOUR HELP!
For my drama class, I'm making a story board for a performance that's based on how covid-19 has changed theatre.
What do I need from you guys?
Cast photos. Short clips of bows/dances. Selfies with castmates. Anything like that.
If you'd like to submit something, DM me! I'll give you my email. The only people that would see the photos/videos will be classmates and teachers. Nothing would go past the department of education!
I really hope some of y'all can help out! It would mean the world if you could!
I mean sure making out is pretty cool, but have you ever sight read something right the first time?
