Basic weightloss tips for beginners
☁Water You’ve probably seen this tip a thousand times. Water boots your metabolism, is good for your skin and prevents overeating. You should drink your bodyweight *3 in mililliters.
☁ Breakfast Always eat breakfast. Several studies have shown that eating something in the morning helps with weightloss, because the body won’t go into starvation mode and you won’t have too much cravings over the day. Eat a healthy breakfast which should make up ⅓ of your daily calorie amount.
☁ Sleep When you don’t get enough sleep you will get more cravings and feel more hungry , because your body won’t produce enough of the hormone leptin (it controls your repletion) Sleep at least 6 hours per night.
☁ Focus on what you eat Don’t eat in hurry or in front of the TV/ the laptop/ your phone. Slowly eating is good for your digestion and the body needs 20 minutes to feel full. Also there are some studies which have shown that you’re feeling hungry faster when don’t concentrate on what you eat.
☁ Snacks It’s better not to eat between your bigger meals but when you feel hungry or dizzy, stick to fruits and vegetables. They have almost no calories and not a gramm of fat. Be careful with the fruit sugar though.
☁ Drinks Alcohol contains a lot of calories and stops your body from burning fat. You will also be more likely to binge while being drunk. So it’s obviously better not to drink alcohol (also for health reasons) but don’t let your diet ruin your social life. If you want to drink something with your friends then do it, just don’t do it on a regular basis. Unsweetened tea and water is the better choice. Juice and soda have a lot of sugar in it , same goes for sugary coffees like caramel macchiato.
☁ Keep going Losing weight takes time. Losing weight is hard. But you started for a reason so why should you want to give in now? Even when you only loose 0.1 pound per week you still lost some weight.
