So it’s always very hard to ask for help but I’ve learned it’s ok to go to community for support.
Over the past year and a half, I had to leave my apartment and job in New York to care for my mother and Grandma during the final months of their lives; both passed away within two weeks of each other and shortly upon returning to work in New York, I was laid off due to the pandemic.
Like many of us in the community, I am working through anxiety, grief and depression while on this spiritual journey of life.
Though I’ve been able to maintain financial security through different avenues, I’m coming to community to ask for help in securing my most basic and essential need-a safe and affordable place to live for myself as a non gender conforming individual-while I continue to heal and continue to work on my growing business ventures and providing services to the community.
2020 has been a trying year for all of us. In a time of “ social distancing,” I’m asking for community support in any donation you can spare tohelp me secure a safe place to live.
